Stumbled upon this little gem years ago by accident. As we were travelling through Sydney we stopped off down the block to have a pint at the Fortune of War (Sydney's oldest pub) and then we wanted some dinner. So we walked down the street and found this place with outdoor seating. We decided to just stop here and give... More

The best thing about this cafe is its location. The cafe has an excellent ambience, and feel. But.. the upstairs feels detached from the main space as does the service. Some patrons were offered specials, others weren't. Probably put this down to language barrier. The meals were quite expensive as expected but the pork burger was very fatty. The bouliabasse... More

After stopping at this Cafe with relatives after perusing the cakes cabinet, I found this to be extremely disappointing to be served a half piece of Lemon Meringue pie, compared to Tiramisu already served & charged $12.50.When the waitress was questioned whether this was a full sized piece, she gathered 2 more waitresses to assess, with no answer, the depth... Had dinner here yesterday with friends, or at least my friends had dinner. Unfortunately after the long wait for food I was served my Kangaroo fillet, served with roast beetroot, asparagus and mash potato cold. at $33 I didn't think that a meal served cold was acceptable so I explained to the waiter who took away my food, a short... I had Shepherds Pie, a coffee and some water. Food was average, yet I scoffed the lot. Service was friendly and quick and the place was just nice and charming. Food = average. Ambience = very good Staff = Excellent So it gets very good overall.

Our breakfast today was very expensive. Coffee was luke warm. Mushrooms on toast $13. One piece of bread no butter with a quarter of tomato and a dozen very small mushrooms. Dry, bland and very expensive. Will not go there again.

It was only an off chance we saw the place. A little European hustling outside from the manager was welcome and enjoyed. Inside or outside on the footpath tables he says! Upstairs or downstairs? Its bigger than we think. The female wait staff were very good. The service was professional and prompt. i had a chili burger with jalopenos (I... More

A wonderful spot to sit outside and watch the goings on at the Rocks. A tiny little spot, with great staff and the best food!! So yummy! I think this would have been one of the best side salads I've ever had! I had fish & Chips which were so nice! And check out the deserts!!!! Oh my GAWD!!!!!

Came here with a group of friends on a recent trip to the Rocks. Staff were very attendant and lunches were quickly served. The fish tasted very fresh and was perfectly cooked and the home made pie was very tasty as well. The cafe is licensed so we were able to enjoy a beer with our mean. Pricing in this... More

A small and inviting restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere; service was great as well as the food. The evening we had dinner here, one of the specials was Barramundi. It was excellent! We also had the burger special, it was huge and a great price. Prices were reasonable for Sydney standards. Staff was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant if... More
