Tried this restaurant after few of our friends recommended this place.Booked it for Saturday evening for 4 people. Arrived on time and requested to sit outside and they managed to find a table quickly. They had a decent range of alcohol range. Entrées we had some dumplings and Prawn dish, both were yummy. Mains we ordered Peking duck which was... More

Walking up from the markets on a Sunday and you get bombarded from all angles. This one stood out because we could see the food other people were eating and it looked good. We weren't disappointed either. Quick service with a numbered menu - you mark the number of serves of each selection onto the order form and the waiter... More

We went to the Hingara Chinese Restaurant for a yum cha lunch, and was very disappointed with the food. Half the dishes we ordered were dry and not freshly steamed. The roast duck looked like it was finger plucked from a duck carcass and we sent it back and the staff threw it straight in the bin. When the bill... More

We had really nice duck dish one night and we went back a week later to try some more of there dishes and loved it. We will be back the next time we are in Sydney. The staff are very good and friendly.

Then we ordered some spicy octopus which also had a terrible taste and came out uncooked.. We had to send it back but still did not finish as... More

The service was excellent with the staff being friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken, beef and rice dishes which were delivered to our table piping hot and all were delicious. Next time I am in Chinatown, Sydney I will definitely go back to Hingara

Found the food full of flavour. Delicious combination fried rice with lots of prawns. Juicy duck. Chinese tea really good and did not get bitter as it sat in the pot.

After walking through Chinatown we decided to have a meal at Hingara. The staff were friendly (and patient) and we weren't disappointed with our meals. We ordered a different main each so we could taste each other's. The portions were extremely generous - in fact, our son in law who is a big eater, couldn't finish his - and that's... More

Ordered a mix of vegetarian and carnivore dishes. Everyone was satisfied. The food is definitely anglified. Laksa was so large it had a tide. All in all it ticked the boxes. A little on the moderate to high side for cost.

We strolled down Dixon St on a Saturday night and the crowds here were spilling out the door. We weren't disappointed. Food came quickly and serving sizes were generous.
