Magic view

Sydney Cove is a small restaurant set on the harbour wall. We ate from the lunch specials which were very reasonable. The a la carte menu is more expensive. The setting and the view were magic. The staff were excellent and I would definately return in future

i just love this restaurant. We have been going to the Oyster Bar for over 4 years now and to be honest we never go past the crispy skin barramundi and a cheeky pinot grigio. When you are onto a good thing... why change?!? Service is always good, the staff are aware of people who need to attend a show... More

What an amazing experience, which I will be doing again. Totally the most fantastic experience that I recommend to every visitor to the harbour city of Sydney. We arrived without reservation on a Saturday lunch only to be seated at the best table with birds eye view of the harbour and bridge. The wait staff, were extremely attentive and helpful... More

Right on the water at Circular Quay...although it sometimes just looks like a Cafe the Oyster Bar provides very good meals of fresh seafood and all in an alfresco style. We had the Kilpatric Oysters which melted in your mouth and the Barramundi for the main...well cooked and well presented.

My wife and I visited last night, Friday night in Sydney Harbor. It was very busy but they had gotten my last minute on line reservation request and had a table ready. We were promptly greeted by Emily who got our water and drinks moving. A few minutes later, Jack (from Arkansas) assisted in getting things moving. Emily was alert... More

We had dinner here before seeing a show at the Opera House. Sitting next to the harbour, looking at the Harbour Bridge. It doesn't get much better than that. The food was beautiful. The staff very friendly. Would recommend this restaurant.

Had lunch here on a beautiful sunny day with a large cruise ship parked nearby and ferries and jet boats going by. Fresh oysters, fish and chips and salads. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Service was spotty.

Came for lunch and we were not disappointed with the food. We enjoyed beautiful seafood and the view really made this experience great. Service was abit slow at times and they kept forgetting to bring us our drinks orders. Overall a good experience

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
