Wonderful oysters and wine in the best surroundings, right on top of the Ferry Terminal and next to The Sydney Opera house. so the views of the harbour bridge and all the water traffic whilst feasting on great food is breathtaking.

My wife and I had breakfast there on Monday and Dinner on Wednesday. Five stars are not enough! The good: This is the only restaurant wharfside on Circle Cay between the ferry dock and the Sydney Opera house. The view overlooking the Sydney bridge is as beatiful in the morning as it is as night. The service was impeccable. We... More

After purchasing the $240 lobster dish, very disappointed. Plenty of food but nothing was fresh, the lobster was hard and chewy with no flavour. Oysters were good but that's as far as it went. Service was as nice, very good location

We were in Sydney for five nights and ate at this restaurant three times. We had oysters, lobster and flathead. Every meal was terrific. What more could you want; seafood, a bottle of wine and a "ring side" seat at Circular Quay watching the ferries come and go and the cruise ships depart. We will be back. For its location... More

We have visited the Oyster Bar twice in the last 3 weeks and plan another very soon. Both days were perfect, and sitting at the waters edge, under huge umbrellas relaxing with great food and wines, was all one could have asked. The oysters were fresh and chilled, I had the flathead and other had snapper, prawns and scollops, all... More

We often stop by here for a coffee, a snack or a drink. The location right alongside the busy shipping areas of Circular Quay and the nearby International Cruise Ship Terminal keeps everyone entertained watching the comings and goings. Drinks are good and the food is fine - but this area has lots of choice so I won't go so... More

Perfect Summer outdoor dining at Circular Quay before seeing Masquerade at the Opera house. Delicious Sydney Rock Oysters washed down with a nice wine as one watches the to and going of ferries, thrill ride boats and tourist boats. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also booked a table for after the play for fish and chips.

OK, I have read the reviews, and was significantly misled with my expectations. That said, overall the experience was very good. This is not though a fine dining venue, it is a cafe with an awesome view, from some tables, of the harbour, the bridge and so forth. So, if you are booking in here be clear on what your... More

We had lovely views over the harbour while we ate a late breakfast. Service fantastic, wait staff excellent and friendly, food very good. The only negative was the small wine and beer list, was not able to get the beer i wanted so opted for a cold bottle of Monteiths Peach cider to go with breakfast. Very refreshing. Lovely spot...
