We were here for a relaxing drink. You have a good view over the harbour, Circulair Quay and Harbour bridge and Opera house.. The staff is very helpfull and friendly.

My husband loves oysters and he was in oyster heaven here. It is close to the Opera House along the quay; and between the outdoor seating overlooking the busy harbor and the quay it made a perfect backdrop for people watching and harbor watching while waiting for our lunch. The menu is somewhat limited but the items we had were... More

Had really tasty oysters here, while admiring the lovely view over the bridge and the Opera House. Service was great and so was the wine.

If you love fresh seafood, good wine, a fantastic view and exceptional service then this is the place for you. My boyfriend and I spent two days in Sydney, we loved this place so much that we dined here both days. We got a table right by the waters edge and so had the perfect view of the Sydney harbour... I have dined at this restaurant many times over the past several years, for lunch and dinner, all seasons, and always had a very pleasant meal. The service, whilst always friendly, is at times hit and miss as they seem to employ travellers who don't always know the menu or wine list well. However, having said that, all queries are... More

Every time I visit Sydney, I have at least 1meal at SCOB. Food is consistently good, with some of the best oysters anywhere. Service from all the staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and unpretenious, ( unlike many, many restaurants in Sydney ). As I am usually dining alone, I am always made to feel very much at home. Good cross section... More

Went to the Oyster Bar , Circular Quay, Sydney, Cove and booked a table for 2pm and gave them a mobile number. Walked in on time to be told they had given the table to someone else and asked us to sit outside in the cold to wait for that table. They simply did not care about our booking, did... More

While not cheap, this restaurant is a fabulous place to eat oysters, drink sparkling wine and watch what happens on the harbour. But go on a nice warm sunny day, it can get very breezy down there on the harbours edge.
