A friend and i visited Circular Quay/Sydney Opera House after a Harbour Bridge Walk last night. Surprisingly, the area was not crowded on a saturday night, however the Opera Bar in the Opera House was crowded as usual. I had known about the Oyster Bar from before, but had never eaten there. The tables overlooking/at the edge of the water... More

Well i have heard of this place many times, but i could not imagine how good it is. Although a little pricey i would pay twice as much for the best seafood experience i have ever had. follwed bu a very nice Sa Blanc perfec last night for us this trip but i will definately be back. My wife and I went on a date night. Figured we'd do something different and chose this spot. What a choice! We were joined by the Queen Mary 2 on a stunning Sydney evening. We were fearful that it would be a "tourist" trap BUT the food was stunning! Cooked to perfection and the freshest possible seafood. Service was attentive... More

We ate here on our first night and watched the sun set and the lights come up...magic, in fact so much so we ate there again the next night. The food was lovely too!

You can't take your eyes off the water activity or the bridge. The service here is always quick and friendly, they're always super busy but they serve the food promptly and make sure you're taken care of...with a smile. I've been here 4 times over the past 2 years and I'll go back every time I visit.

This place is in a fantastic spot, with well cooked, presented and served seafood. It is pricy, but the view is excellent. You could not get any closer to the Quay and the Harbour Bridge without being on the water. While the food is not Michelin star quality, it is very well cooked, fresh, tasty and fun. Also has clearly... More

we had brunch by a glorious morning sun. the location right in front of harbour bridge is excellent. service was ok, obviously busy and they know tourists wouldnt come back necessarily...but they accomodated an omelette where it was no more time to serve any. the barramundi was very well cooked, fresh and tasty. very good presentation. really enjoyed it. a... If you are heading to a show at the Opera House or the Dendy Cinema, the Sydney Cove Oyster Bay provides a sumptuous and convenient meal in easy walking distance of these venues. We have dined here at least 15 times over recent years. A table right next to the harbour where you can watch the bustle of the ferries... More

We had the local fish and chips here, washed down with an excellent, chilled Sauvignon Blanc. It was a beautiful day and although expensive for simple fish and chips, we were in a prime location. And that is what the price is about. The food was very good but the service was indifferent. We didn't have to wait for anything... More

OK, it was a bit pricey. But the outdoor location on the Quay, quite close to the Opera House makes it a very reasonable lunch option (and, perhaps dinner, on a warm night). The oysters were fresh, the fish was well prepared and the ambiance is great. The service was a bit slow and unresponsive, but no worse than other... More
