Birthday Lunch

Surprise trip to Sydney by my husband for my special day, had a lovely lobster mornay lunch with sinful cocktails. Atmosphere was great as was the service, even had a cake brought to our table.

with both fructose and lactose intolerances shared between my wife and 2 children, dining out has become a bit of a bore, limited to meat or fish and a reduced selection of vegetables. Desserts have been just non existant. The Quay have literally amazed us! they took their menu and ensured that almost all of it could be enjoyed by... More

We visited Sydney and were recommended to this restaurant for their fish and chips. Not being a lover of fish and chips, we went anyway. We had the best fish and chips we've ever had, second only by a small chip shop in Bath England and a street vendor in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. The fish was... More

I had a wonderful luncheon with a group of colleagues. We all tried different things. I had a dozen oysters and the shrimp cocktail with salad. It was wonderful! I also tried a taste of my friend's salt and pepper squid, also quite good. I would come back to this restaurant again.

You can't argue with the view (across the street from the Sydney Park Hyatt) and the food, big plates or little are lovely. We had one of the native fishes (forgot name) which was beautifully, simply prepared. Just make sure you ask to sit in the furthest most space that has a great harbor and Opera House View...and the Harbor... More

Due to upgrade of the Quay side facilities for accepting the big liners into Sydney Harbour all the restaurants along this strip have gone and Peter Doyles (the best in my opinion) is closed forever which is such a shame because we used to dine there many times a year and were on first name basis with the restaurant manager... I managed to walk into the restaurant and got an outdoor seating. I had the cold seafood platter for two and the amount of food was more than enough. The seafood was fresh and especially the prawns! Outdoor seating is good as you will be able to see the Opera House which is across the Harbour.
