Read the reviews and decided to chance a table without a booking. If we were prepared to wait 30 min we could be seated.....so across to the Nelson for a couple of sensational beers, then back to what was a absolutely beautiful meal. Three courses along with a very nice bottle of wine. Service was excellent......couldn't fault anything......can't wait to... More

Here's a restaurant out of the way at The Rocks that not only serves great food but has the added bonus of being BYO with reasonable corkage. I found this little gem by accident but obviously it's well known to many as even on a Monday night it was fully booked and patrons without a reservation were having to be... More

I last came here about five years ago and recalled it being pretty good, so I booked it for dinner with an old friend last week. It's just over the road form Sydney's best pub, The Lord Nelson, so we met there for a few drunks and wandered over the road. In the Rocks area, almost all the restaurants are... More

Lovely restaurant with a very intimate feel. The service was very good and the food great. A little away from other parts of the Rocks, but it is only a short stroll on a nice night.

It was our last night in Australia, so we wanted a special dinner to cap off our 3 week visit, and we were not disappointed! It was an easy walk from our hotel near the Quay to its location on Kent Street. The restaurant is small, but has seating on two levels. There were so many things on the menu... More

Lucky to end up in this relatively small restaurant. Enjoyed several types of sea food, all very fresh and tasty, also liked the wines and their reasonable prices. Good place to return to, pleasant staff.

We were lucky enough to come across this great seafood restaurant. We started with the special steamed mussels that were plump and cooked perfectly. Then we shared a grilled crustacean platter that was absolutely amazing. It was served with grilled prawns, scampi and moreton bay bugs a side salad and fries. Do yourself a favour and take the time to... More

Had dinner with a friend in the upstairs dining area. the waiter was attentive and not intrusive. food was great and fairly priced. they have an extensive wine list fairly priced too. the only thing we weren't happy with was the ambience of the upstairs area which didn't look as cosy and intimate as the ground floor, but food was... We booked here due to the location and high Tripadvisor rating. Service was excellent but most importantly the food was magnificent.

Hunting out a restaurant after walking around the Rocks area in the evening we stumbled upon this little gem. Although it stated 6pm start they were happy to have us at 5.45 and we were quickly seated and sorted with drinks - all a reasonable price and range. Lovely fresh roll was delivered to enjoy and of course we chose... More
