We ate here during our stay and truly loved it. My husband and I shared the platter to start with and it was generous portions. For main we had their signature dish and was just as delicious as the starter. The place itself is quaint and cosy. Good sign of a good place is when it's busy and this place... More

We both tried the early-bird menu as it was our first time there (2 courses at $49 and leave before 7.45pm). We ordered the soft shelled crab and the calamari as starter - the soft shell crab can be a bit more crunchy and the calamari is the best with its delicious sauce. The whole snapper is huge and tasty... More

Five minutes walk from the Harbour Bridge, this place is tucked away in a quiet side street. It was odd to be served by a man with little eye contact, but apart from that, a superb meal: crab cakes (yum) followed by snapper with cauliflower and coconut rice and spaghettini with shellfish (not such a good choice as the snapper).... We loved everything, all the food that we ordered (Barramundi & Mussels) were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent.

We were eating dessert when an arm flashed past my right side. I turned to see the waitress putting the spoon she had just snatched from my setting on another nearby table!!!! What? So lets try to get past that for a minute…. My fish pie was bland, very little flavor

This is an authentic seafood place and not a tourist place. It is actually on the very edge of the Rocks and quite a walk from the central places. There are specials every day on the big blackboard (the waiter will move the board next to your table) including great matching wine. A bit pricy but comparing with all the... More

Read the reviews and decided to chance a table without a booking. If we were prepared to wait 30 min we could be seated.....so across to the Nelson for a couple of sensational beers, then back to what was a absolutely beautiful meal. Three courses along with a very nice bottle of wine. Service was excellent......couldn't fault anything......can't wait to... More

Here's a restaurant out of the way at The Rocks that not only serves great food but has the added bonus of being BYO with reasonable corkage. I found this little gem by accident but obviously it's well known to many as even on a Monday night it was fully booked and patrons without a reservation were having to be... More

I last came here about five years ago and recalled it being pretty good, so I booked it for dinner with an old friend last week. It's just over the road form Sydney's best pub, The Lord Nelson, so we met there for a few drunks and wandered over the road. In the Rocks area, almost all the restaurants are... More
