Relaxing - great atmosphere.

Went for an early dinner last night before heading out to see the Vivid lights. Good pizza, good wine, live Italian music made for a relaxing dinner. Sitting outside in the fresh air with the heaters blaring giving us rosy cheeks was just so nice and I could have easily ordered more wine and... read more

We dropped into this restaurant on the opening night of Vivid and were thrilled to get a table inside. The food was great, we ordered bruschetta, pasta and a chocolate ice cream kind of dessert, as well as a few jugs of the house wine. For being in the Sydney CBD, the prices were extremely cheap! The female server was... More

Ate here on a Saturday night during Vivid festival and so the place was busy though this is a large restaurant probably capable of over 100 covers at any one time. We were only sitting 2 minutes and the waitress was standing at our table while we decided our menu which was uncomfortable. It felt like we were at a... More

We had the half and half marinara and 'the works' pizza and it was surprisingly good... We were here on the first night of the vivid festival but it wasn't fully packed which was slightly surprising.

Out wandering and we all needed lunch. Prefer places a bit off the beaten path. We sat outside and had wonderfully quick, friendly and efficient lunch service. Two had pasta, one pizza and one salad. And a couple beers of course! Perfect delivery. A trip upstairs to the bathroom is a must just to see the "rocks" and cliff that... More

We visited this place a few times now, we had garlic pizza, gnocchi bolognase, lagsagne. Lovely old Italy feel, great to be there in summer. It was a chilly night when we went in July but all the canopies and things how it is set up we didnt feel cold. Staff were wonderful, they took our photos had a chat.... More

Been going to the Caminetto for years. Never had a bad meal yet. But I think it's actually better than it used to be, which is quite a feat as it was excellent last time I was there. I had the most amazing Seafood Marinara. Never had chilly infused olive oil with a Marinara dish before. Tried it - sensationally... More

Arriving in Australia after a long journey from the UK, I wasn't very hungry when it came to dinner time so I thought I would go to an Italian restaurant for a light meal. Earlier in the day I had passed Caminetto and it looked very pleasant so I checked it up on Tripadvisor where the reviews were generally very... More

Having not booked anywhere for the evening meal, we decided that Caminetto looked good, with a significant area of outdoor seating. It was busy, but a place for us was found. The ambience (outside) was good, and there was a wide ranging menu with reasonable prices. I ordered pizza (large - which equates to a standard one in the UK),... More
