A great Italian restaurant tucked away in the Rocks area of Sydney. With the sandstone cliffs providing a backdrop to you dinning experience a more congenial restaurant would be hard to find in Sydney. With an extensive menu of traditional dishes and live music provided by the band playing traditional Instruments on Saturday night. Your dining pleasure is assured. Meals... More

This place is in such a good location sitting right in the middle of the Rocks and you can sit outside and watch the world go by. They serve food all day and we went in for a late lunch. The service is somewhat typical for a tourist area - the wait staff seem like they really can't be bothered... More

Come here if you want simplciticy. Great atmosphere. Home-cooked-style food. Wonderful staff. Live, italian harp and guitar. Cosy area of The Rocks.

Very disappointed the service, atmosphere and food. The lasagne is very clearly a microwave lasagne from Woolworths or the like and the $22 small pizza is only 5 inches across, very poor value in my books. let's not get started on the white wine. Save yourselves the disappointment and money and head to the closest pizza hut or McDonald's...

We were wandering around The Rocks area looking for somewhere to have a quiet meal..... just couldn't find anything to suit, that is until we asked one of the workers cleaning up after the Market Day and he was the one that suggested Caminetto's! He was spot on .... no loud noisy groups of people, no thumping music, just the... More

The aroma or fresh garlic being cooked is always alluring. The restaurant was full and buzzing when we arrived so we needed to wait for 10 minutes for a table which didn't matter as we were entertained by a harpist and guitarist who were playing in the courtyard of the restaurant. A beautiful autumn evening, the music, the Italian conversations... More

We came in here as we had seen it from our hotel across the street so decided to give it a try. The evening we visited it was raining so sat inside. Once seated service was quick drinks and menu straight away, i ordered pizza along with my wife and brother in law. Inside was very spartan but clean and... More

We ate here after our Twilight Climb at the Harbour Bridge - the two experiences could not have been more different. The outdoor seating draws you in, but I should have started to worry when the waiter couldn't even be bothered to seat us, just pointed to a table and walked away. I just wanted a snack so ordered the... More

We had an early evening meal here prior to attending a show at the opera House. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very tasty and portions very generous.

The seating area outside this restaurant is what draws you in. Well situated in The Rocks area of town, the outdoor seating is inviting, relaxed and very continental (i.e. European). We only needed a light dinner so ordered a pizza and salad to share. The food was decent enough. However, sadley it was served with a scowl. None of the... More
