I had lunch here on September 21st. Location is great, right in the center of The Rocks but that's really the only thing I liked about the place. Obviously the food is all the counts. . . I ordered the 'Rollada di Pollo' and it was below my expectations. To start with, there was too much sauce, the chicken was... More

Walking around The Rocks we decided to stop in & have some pizzas alfresco style. Glad we did. Very nice pizzas. The service wasn't the best but the pizzas made up for it. The only other thing we found odd was they had about 10 outdoor patio heaters all going in close proximity & it made it extremely hot under... More

This is a pleasant restaurant which for sydney has reasonably priced food. The service was good. It has both indoor and outdoor seating in a central location.

Have had a meal in this restaurant before and was happy then so I decided to have another meal here. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was about 75% full. I figured that the wait staff are paid on how amy tables they ruth over because I wasn't even offered dessert or coffee. When I went to pay... More

sydney restaurants can be very pricey but Caminetto is excellent and reasonable. We enjoyed Fried zucchini flowers similar to those we have had in Rome. The live music and outdoor seating Is comfortable and inviting.

If you happen to be staying in the Rocks precinct and you just want a quick and easy Italian meal in a comfortable locale ..... this is ideal. Straight down the end of Playfair Street, just off George St near the Holiday Inn. Its comfortable, the food is fine, the prices are good. Good pasta and good pizza. Wine list... More

We had dinner here one evening during a visit to Sydney and thought it was going to be really authentic Italian food. It was anything but. I thought the service was very basic, the waitress didn't really seem to care, the water brought to our table was just tap water. We ordered a meat lasagne and a vegetarian lasagne which... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant in the Rocks thinking it looked good. It was awful...service was bad, very slow. Bright fluorescent lights shunning right in our eyes, waited forever for our wine (food was delivered first)....just not fine dining in the least. Waitresses were very untrained and didnt even acknowledge requests....saw blatant eye rolls to one another when we requested... More

Fantastic wait staff coupled with an equally fantastic yet simple menu all in historic surrounds. I love when the wait staff are sufficiently attentive yet not hovering. I love when the menu is not daunting. I love when the atmosphere is just right on a cool evening in Sydney and you get to sit outside in the historic Rocks area... More
