I staid at a hotel on The Rocks for two days and went twice to the Caminetto, as I really liked the casual & relaxed atmosphere, the simple & very tasty Italian food and the good wine.

Enjoyed a simple, tasty well priced meal and a glass or two of vino. We enjoyed the live music and envied the tasty looking pizza that the next table had ordered. Pretty good.

This hidden little gem was a short walk away from our hotel and we were instantly drawn to the little outside courtyard area as there were a duo of men singing and one on the guitar and the other singing while playing a large harp. Beautiful and very romantic. The food was fresh (hubby had Rock Oysters with a squeeze... More

We shared a couple of pizzas, bruschetta and a caraffe of house red wine & a couple of beers - 4 people $110.00. The pizza was uncomplicated and really nice thin crispy base. The atmosphere was what made it with two guys singing "That's A-Moree" and we all joined in. We were seated inside, a tiny room, crammed in but... More

We had to ask someone about our drinks and she said I don't do drink orders. Overall was pretty bad service and the meals... More

Ended up here by default as most other places closed found that strange at 2030 ish. Rotten service by very rude girl who barely even glanced at us, too busy looking around at something more interesting. Food nothing special would not recommend.

Visited with hubby on our 11th anniversary. The food was tasty but hubby was convinced his meat lasagne was reheated. My crab linguine was delicious, but not very 'crabby'. Dessert was amazing and the garlic bread was hot and garlicy! It was a bit chilly outside, but we could have moved inside if we wanted to. The live music was... More

Wonderful setting for an Italian restaurant in the Rocks area of Sydney and it's very easy to find with indoor & outdoor seating. As you walk down George Street towards the Bridge and just as you past the Holiday Inn Old Sydney, look to your left and you'll see Caminetto's. It was a bit chilly the night we dined at... More
