As good as the past memories

I have not dined here for over a decade but was reminded of just how good the Yum Cha and service are here. The low prices per plate saw me order far too much. The great taste and a good selection of beers made the task of eating it all very pleasant. This is definitely on my revisit list when... read more

This was a very disappointing meal. Service was poor. We were told there was a table available for us, so we went upstairs but were then made to wait another 15 minutes (to the great discomfort of the people at the tables we were crowded around while waiting). We were finally seated at a table that was cleared and covered... More

This is a restaurant that has been in Chinatown for many years and how it has survived it is beyond me. We ordered 2 entrees; spring rolls and satay sticks. The spring rolls arrived promptly but were only luke warm, the satay sticks took another 20 mins to arrive and were not what they should have been. They were only... More

If you like Chinese you will love Nine Dragons. My daughter took myself and my grandson for dinner while I was visiting Sydney. The meal was fantastic so much flavour. Best Chinese ever.

Having recently watched John Tarode singing the praises of China Town on UK TVs we made the effort to go there for a meal. We definitely chose the wrong restaurant. The food was cold and we were rushed to leave, although we weren't going to hang around. The waiter even came and shook the cans to see if we had... More

Restaurant was recommended and food was ok however on our table of 4 we ordered a selection of 5 dishes. One dish came out with rice whilst the other 4 came out one at a time over a 40 minute period. Staff very unfriendly and didn't seem to think it was an issue that awe weren't all eating together. Complaints... More

Spent an evening with friends from overseas and this restaurant was suggested. Good night over all. The food, classic Chinese, delivered in the usual large restaurant manner. The place has done it a million times before we came and no doubt will deliver a million more meals after we leave. Food not inspired but by no means bad. The atmosphere... More

Found this place just by wandering through China town. Tuesday night so not very busy. Has an outside area plus upstairs. Service was efficient and friendly. Had steamed dim sims for entree which were superb. Main I had seafood noodles which again were superb with lots of fish, scallops, shrimp and squid. Squid was a bit chewy but flavours were... More

Went for dinner with a work colleague and ordered the Cantonese garlic beef, the sizzling king prawns , crispy skin chicken and steamed rice. Service was good and the food absolutely delicious. I have not been here for years and I remember the food being pretty special back then and going back years later Wow the food is still awesome!... More

My husband and I went for dinner on the spur of the moment. We had been here a couple of times before and really enjoyed it. We love the vegetarian san choy bow - the flavours are just lovely and combined with the crispness of the lettuce cup was just fantastic. The steamed prawn dumplings are fresh and tasty. We... More
