We were on our way to a show and looking for lunch. This location is far nicer than the mega yum cha options in Sydney, the food was good, we were able to order without waiting for the trolley, all staff were really obliging and it was not overcrowded or too noisy. We'd happily visit again, knowing it's honest, tasty... More

We went here again because we like Yum Cha and had had a good experience. The food was still good and service was prompt and polite. A little disappointed in the range of dishes offered. We had to request some greens to balance out the buns and fried dishes. The range could have been a bit more interesting.

You will find this lovely restaurant above the din of bustling Dixon St. We had an early dinner but it was filling fast by th etime we were finishuing up. The usual range of dishes are offered at a high quality and with great service. Looking forward to going back again soon.

I had dinner at this restaurant with my huge tour group. The place allocated for us is in the 3rd floor , and there food consisting of braised beef, fried chicken , mixed vegetables and noodles were served buffet style. We had soup, tea and sodas as well . I admit the staff are not that friendly or the smiling... More

In Sydneys Chinatown is one of the few places in the city that you'll get people out the front exhorting you (in a very friendly way) to come into their restaurant. While this may be common place elsewhere there isn't much of this in Australia. Anyway this little restaurant scores points for its options of inside or outside dining in... More

Recently had yum cha here with friends and had a wonderful time. We ate ourselves to a standstill and got out for less than $25 a head. Great value!! The food was amazing, the dumplings and mango pancakes were a standout. Service was what you expect at yum cha and the atmosphere was not great (although it was a Sunday... More

Our table on the footpath in Dixon Street had us right in the centre of bustling Friday night market. The staff were courteous and helpful. My gluten free meal of chicken and cachews with vegetables was delicious. The girls on the street at the entrance were able to direct me to several gluten free options on the menu. My friends... Myself and my partner went two nights ago! The restaurant looked lovely! It was clean spacious and busy, we got a nice seat by the window! We ordered two mains, two drinks and a side! We asked for a side with the meal but it came as a starter however it was quite tasty! Then my partners meal came it... More

Nine Dragons is situated in the heart of Sydney's Chinatown on Dixon Street. According to it's website, it is "an admirable Chinese restaurant that has been producing consistent fine quality food for over 30 years." (http://www.ninedragons.com.au). I popped in at about 6:30pm on 8 April 2014 for dinner. That would be a good time to go as the crowd starts... More
