Me and my boyfriend come here every year for our anniversary when we stay in the city and are never disappointed. Its definite worth booking as this place gets packed. We usually don't like to go to places that are crowded and noisy, but somehow Chinta Ria manages large amounts of people really well. We've tried a few of the... More

We love all the fish dishes! More varieties and cheaper than the Westfield Syd Chinta Ria. Great for a family casual dining!

Arrived here at 7.30 on what seemed to be a busy night. Ordered an entree and two mains. The entree arrived with our drinks and the main as we just finished our entree. The food tasted good and we received present service. Overall a good experience, and lovely atmosphere.

This is nice food made by Malay cooks in a busy and visible kitchen. Fast service even on a busy night. Great location too. We walked from the nearby Sheraton. Convenient! Casual but efficient and delicious.

We went there with friends on my birthday on Australia day. I ordered the gado gado,,but was rather disappointed, it wasn't that delicious, the veggies were swimming in peanut sauce and the veggies weren't soft, they were quite hard. The entrees were nice though...I should have ordered the beef rending probably it was a lot nicer. Our waiter was very... More

The moment you walk inside this bustling restaurant you face a giant Buddha with a smiling face. The atmosphere is very lively, the service is very good and the food is excellent. This is a great choice to eat at Darling Harbour.

I've never had a bad experience here at Chinta Ria. When the weather is warm it's lovely to sit outside under the trees. Service is efficient and friendly. The food is always delicious! I highly recommend Ayam Blues, it may sound a bit funky on the menu but it's absolutely sublime, it's a dish we always order. I also love... More

We thought we would celebrate fathers day (2014) by having a nice meal at chinta ria, as we have done on many occasions in the past; however, today we were met with nothing more than an extremely rude waiter. After being seated outside, what started off as a pleasant meal quickly changed. Our waiter made us feel very unwelcome...she continually... More

On Sat night I dined at Chinta Ria with friends from Canberra. Being a Sat night the restaurant was extremely busy but nevertheless both service and food were excellent. We opted to order one dish at a time as we did not want to be rushed which worked very well for us. Some of the dishes we had included Roti... More

Waited a while for service mid week - purely because the place was super busy! Staff very apologetic, took our order in advance of being seated, and had our food and drinks in front of us within minutes of getting a table. Delicious flavours, well priced, and really comfortable space once we sat down.
