We like the Chinta Ria Temple of Love so decided to try the new Chinta Kechil in Double Bay. We knew it was small (18 seat) but didn't know how small. Three of us sat on bench seat facing a nine inch counter.counter - just about wide enough for a plate. We ordered three starters and two mains - all... More

My wife took me here for my birthday. Excellent value for money restaurant, with a great menu to choose from. Service was very quick, with plenty of patrons eating.

Oodles of Noodles on the menu but not much else. After trying to get in several times, finally made it at 6.00pm Sunday night Doors Open on Sunday night. Certainly nothing special. Black bean beef, (called Beef Ria), cheeky bird (KFC Chicken?) and a few veg. Cold atmosphere in Winter. Been there done that wont do it again!!

The chicken was very dry. The Assam fish was not tangy at all. Food was very average less. Also the staff came around twice to clear the table before finishing dinner. Horrible experience.

Had dinner recently on a Saturday night with a large group of people. We were running around 20 minutes late and they were more than happy to hold the table for us. We ordered the 'Love' banquet and were very impressed with the quality and amount of food. The fact that it is BYO is great too. The service was... More

We returned to this restaurant with fond memories from our last visit several years ago. We were visiting from nz and had booked online before arriving in sydney to ensure we could secure a table. On our arrival we waited 10+ minutes to be taken to a table (with no apology for the delay). We then were left at the... More

The restaurant was busy on a winters Monday night which is always a good sign. Service is efficient if not warm. The food was good, in particular the wonton soup and Nasi Goreng. Not bad value given the location. Overall I would certainly go again.

This was the first time I have dined at a Malaysian restaurant and I suppose I am comparing it to Thai and Vietnamese which I love. I didn't like the food at all. The location and restaurant decor were nice but the food was nothing special.
