Great meal and wide choice on the menu

Long time since we had Chinese food in Australia and once we had digested the extensive menu and chosen the food was excellent and of course with the view of the Harbour Bridge on a warm summers evening it was perfect.

The only pro of this restaurant is its location at Circular Quay. Other then that, service is terrible, as well as the food. There are much better choices nearby.

Excellent food and atmosphere - Lion Dance added to the festivities. Stephen took good care of us despite it being very busy on Chinese New Year's Eve. The food took quite a while to come out but when it did it was worth the wait. Normally service is much faster. We had a banquet menu and Stephen was very obliging... More

I come here every year for Chinese new year with my Dad and Step mum. Great view with the food and they always have a lion dance at cny. We always get the lobster which is fantastic. They have some stuff on the menu that most restaurants won't have such as crocodile and kangaroo. Staff are always friendly and will... More

We were on the way to the opera (the Pearlfishers) at Sydney Opera House so were looking for a small meal beforehand at about 6pm. Settled on this one as food is not to heavy (don't want to fall asleep in the opera). Service is a bit slow when you have a timetable to meet. We had to ask for... More

The food was very delicious however, my black bean beef with rice didn't have enough black bean sauce so there is a major issue that needs to be addressed immediately.

Great location and prices reasonable considering. Staff were very pleasant. Wasn't my choice, and I generally find Chinese too sweet and not to my liking. This was ok, well cooked, vegetables were not over cooked, beef tender so overall not bad for Chinese food.

We had a 24hr layover enroute to New Zealand. Hunger overtook us as we were walking to the Opera House. Being a gorgeous sunny day, most of the restaurants were full, let alone have a table for six. We felt lucky to stumble on this restaurant. Great view, nice arrangements and attentive service. The food was a bit pricey, but... More

We went there before a show at the Opera House. We were in a bit of a hurry and the service did not disappoint. It was quick and efficient and our food came out right away, one dish after the other. The food was ok, on the average side, but overall we enjoyed the experience. Watch out for the seagulls... More

We had our firm's Christmas lunch there recently and chosen the top banquet menu with high expectations due to the price. The dishes did not wow us and some of the dishes were even over seasoned with spices and sauces. Service was also a bit of a hit and miss experience.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
