Have been to this restaurant numerous times and the food is always good. Our favourite at the quay..

On a sunny day, the al fresco dining was delightful (despite having to ward off the seagulls, which were quite cheeky). The salt and pepper quail and wasabi steak were particular stand-out dishes. I dined with a local friend who has eaten here numerous times and never had a bad meal.

It serves a variety of dishes. I like the seafood food and the service are good. I dislike the curry because it was too spicy. The environment is clean and the staffs are friendly

Had an amazing dinner here - one of the best soups I think I've had. A good location, price seems a little high - but given its location it is probably quite reasonable. Wonderful location, tasty food, service is great. Would always highly recommend and would go back whenever I am staying in the area!

We were able to make a booking in what was probably the best table outdoors in the restaurant. A beautiful view of the harbor bridge and a glimpse of the opera house. The outdoor shades had built in heaters in addition to the gas heaters that were available. The waiting staff were very attentive and professional and looked after us... More

Visited the restaurant for the first time for a pre show meal. Ideal..fast, tasty and reasonably priced given its wonderful location. Would recommend.

Been here twice on my short city break holidays. We love the food and service. The atmosphere is nice if you dine outside with view of the harbor bridge and opera house. Overall a good experience. On my to do list whenever i visit Sydney.

Well placed for meals pre or post Opera House or the Cinema, or just enjoying the lovely views of Sydney harbour. The meal I had at East Chinese restaurant however did not deliver an authentic Chinese taste. Good service & decent premises. As with many of the restaurants on the Harbour, it is not cheap.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times when we are going to the Opera House. Although some might consider it to be westernised chinese food, we always find the food to be good quality and the servings are decent size. The wait staff are attentive and there is a good wine list with a selection of bottles at quite... More

What a terrible restaurant. We went to this highly recommended so called Chinese restaurant, what a joke. Firstly the place was almost empty, we should have been apprehensive, but we sat and ordered. First course tasteless heavy prawn dumplings, atrocious. Second course spring rolls, greasy and full of cabbage. Third course the famous Peking duck pancakes, well what an overwhelming... More
