Great Food - Friendly and Informal Atmosphere

Found this little gem near our hotel and recommend this friendly neighbourhood restaurant. The three of us sat outside for dinner, enjoying bottles of the house wine, garlic prawns in tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad, and a diavola pizza. Service was great - not pushy and... read more

Beautiful traditional Italian food. We had a pizza and a bruschetta special, both of which were delicious. Pizza was the best Iv ever had. Tiramisu was a delicious traditionally made tiramisu. Such a treat! Service was great, food was fast. Vibes were traditional/rustic. Just lovely.

Stopped in at this gem instead of a different place we were heading too due to the friendly owner enticing us with the lasagne special. Food was unreal, the house wine was delicious and the quaint surroundings were greatly enhanced by the engrossingly pleasant ambience.

Thank you Antonio for the great service and always finding me a table despite being last minute or weekend. This place is always busy especially during weekend as the pizza is amazingly good. Authentic, quality ingredients, good location, good prices. I wish I could have pizza almost everyday. It was initially recommended by my friend from Rome as she claims... More

I stumbled across this restaurant by accident, but I am so glad I did! The place itself is small and rustic, and has the feel of a real family run Italian trattoria. And while the ambience is fantastic, the food is even better!!! Finally *real* Italian food in the city! I cannot recommend this place (and its pizzas) highly enough!

Yep, agree with the reviewer who thought it was a little piece of Italy. The food was amazing and we went a couple a times because the kids insisted.

I took my Fiancé here for a birthday dinner. My fiancé loves the old rustic look with the relaxed atmosphere environment. As you walk in, the restaurant is converted to look like you have walked in into a family owned restaurant in Italy. Even the owners greet you in Italian, but don't worry, they do speak very clear English but... More

Took my mum and partner here for an evening away from the home kitchen. You could fly to Italy and back in the amount of time these guys took to make our pizzas. Service was beyond poor. Pizza was so so. The host was busy hanging out with his buddies at their table. After our order arrived, no one came... More

...perhaps the best "authentic" Italian Cafe .. not far from "Little Italy" at the buzzing Stanley street nearby.. We started with fabulous bruschetta and share the perfect pizza... Pastas are good too... Spare some time though and enjoy the moments here ...
