Can't beat a good pie

Just can't stay in Woolloomoolloo without stopping by Harry's and having a pie and chips! Great place to sit and look at all the stars who have visited and enjoyed this iconic piece of Sydney.

I had seen this little caravan serving pies on many food programmes in the UK so I had to try it. It's very basic and on a busy main road but it does have a few seats to perch on while you eat the most delicious pies. The Tiger, a steak pie topped with mash, mushy peas and gravy was... More

Loved the TIGER pie with curry beef, mashed peas and gravy. Hot dog with mustard and sauce and chicken pie all highly rated. The best street food in Sydney a must do.

Half way through a 4 day road trip this was the gourmet section of the trip. We had been eating maccas for 2 days. What can I say, its a pie. It was a good pie. Harry's is an iconic eatery, even Col Sanders has had a pie here.

The Cafe de Wheels is an iconic, and unusual, sidewalk eaterie in a food truck in the Woollomolloo section of Sydney. The food is reasonably priced, served fast, and quite good. It is not easy to find, but is very close to the hop-on hop-off bus stop in Woollomolloo.

Not really a pie eater but you have to at least stop and read the van. Then finding myself alone one evening I decided it was time I tried pie with peas. When I got there I found you could also by pastie and peas so that's what I did and yum! When my husband returned he had 2 pies... More

The legendary Harry's Cafe de Wheels. Whilst visiting Sydney this place had to be done and I am glad that I did. The food isn't bad at all, not spectacular but not bad at all, if your in and about the city then give it a try.

I heard so many good reviews about this place, and decided to find this pie while I was in Sydney. I tried bacon and cheese pie, it was so delicious.... You must try this pie!!!! Ask for chilli sauce there, eat with your pie, and you're in heaven!

No visit to Woolloomooloo is complete without a visit to Harry's Cafe de Wheels. Whether it be a pie and peas or hot dog the food is always hot, fresh and quick. It is a Sydney institution so give it a try you won't be disappointed. Try the tiger pie and watch enjoy a great view of Sydney Harbour.
