Great service, great ingredients, really nice vibe

First time at this restaurant at the behest of a friend, we had a party of 8. It is located at the quiet end of Glebe Point Rd with open frontage and a nice breeze coming through as the sun goes down through the trees, crowd is very friends catching up and regulars who staff knew. Nice friendly... read more

I found the food here to be very disappointing. The portions were very small and the menu really didn't have any star dishes. Was truly disappointed with the price which was close to 90/head and as we left feeling hungry, I would not return in a hurry. Staff were friendly.

We dined here for a Sunday lunch on a sunny day and we were seated outside. The food was amazing and the service was professional. We will definitely be back.

Glebe is filled with restaurants - they come and go - but this one has been a consistent performer over the years. Small but tasty menu, mostly seasonal; and mostly delicious - modern Australian interpretations of fish, chicken, beef, lamb. Been there many times over the years and the fish is always perfectly cooked. Service is calm, which is a... More

It's always hard trying to choose a restaurant to take parents to, with all their years of dining experience. My parents declared it to be the best meal they'd had in Australia, and they've been travelling around the country for 2 months. A concise menu with locally sourced, seasonal produce; great quality ingredients with really fresh, crisp vegetables and excellent... More

Enjoyed a delightful lunch with friends. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was excellent. Familiar fare with appealing touches. We found the special - with choice of entree and main or main and dessert, plus a good house wine - to be very good value. Highly recommended.

Went there for Saturday lunch (5 friends) and we all came away saying it was the best dining experience we have had in Sydney for quite some time! The service was impeccable, the ambience relaxed and stylish and the food outstanding. The special entree of clams and chickpeas and in a garlic/chilli sauce was "to die for" as was my... More

Perhaps when I asked what the specials were and was answered, "they're on the board but I'll tell you," I should have been clued in to the pretentiousness of this restaurant. Hey, I was seated outside and it was my first time there. Am I supposed to know that there's a board with specials written on it? This overpriced, a... More

The food was amazing, the service was great! We wanted to get the sharing menu, however, since we got a later reservation we didn't have enough time. Was hoping to see that on the website or when we made a reservation. Other than that, it was one of the most delicious date-nights.

Decided to diner here after hearing all the good reviews about this place. Was greeted by friendly staff who always made sure that we were looked after. The food was also top quality and is always a plus when they make everything in house. I had the mahi mahi fish and my wife had a steak which was cooked to... More

Staying in Glebe

Neighborhood Profile
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
