Amazing food

Really enjoyed the food. Staff excellent. An awesome experience. But don't come without reservation, otherwise you might need to wait

Very busy restaurant that doesn't take bookings. A waitress comes outside if they are fully seated, and will take your name down on a list if you want a table, so you have your place in a line. Food was superb. Best Pad Thai I have ever eaten! Very busy restaurant, with friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food came quickly,... More

First time go there with my partner. The food is average, little over price. Service is little slow, probably due to the busy period as the restaurant was fully packed. The plus side is the restaurant has a nice decoration.

Food is very ordinary, overpriced for what it is, no BYO (wine overpriced too) and the service when we went was terrible. The waitress whisked our wine off the table before we'd even finished the bottle and we had to ask for it back. We were still consuming and talking at 10pm - not really very unusual for Sydney on... I would not go again. Service very rushed. Even place half empty, must use 2nd choice table they point us too. Very crowded in here, neighbors rubbing included, would be nice if neighbors are cute. Some food to spicy to taste if good. And price rather very high for rather unattractive location looking onto a major road.

This place is excellent - best Thai food that we've had in a long time! We asked for veg options and they were knowledgable enough to check on fish sauce ('no' for us) and then propose dishes accordingly. Ingredients were fresh and spices perfect.

Restaurant is located just into Surry Hills, under the railway line from Haymarket. It is very small inside with tables on the footpath also. Staff were very helpful. We arrived around 6pm on a wednesday and it was 50% full and continued to fill up. We ordered the Stir fry basil crispy pork belly and a red curry roast duck... More

How things ghave changed at Spice I Am. The food was once tasty, interesting, authentic, and akin to the great street food you'd find in Thailand. This was the case over a number of years - quality and consistency were a strennght. At my most recent visit the food was bland, poorly prepared, greasy, tasted like it was cooked sometime... More

This place was a little hard to find as the sign was not obvious. It's the place with people sitting outside. The food was great and the portions were quite large! We go the tum yum soup, papaya salad with soft shell crab and the chicken with basil. Only thing was it was a bit crowded, but the food came... More

When you go to Spice I am do not expect to get a booking for dinner as they do not accept bookings. You just arrive and they will take your name and phone number down and advise how long a wait might be, it could be anywhere from 15 minutes up to 1 hour depending if it is Friday or... More
