Good pizza with fresh ingredients. I took the pizza back home and I had it within 15 minutes. They seem to work quite hard (but it is a busy place).

The pizza here is amazing. You cant go wrong with the spinaci e gamberi and the Divola. The service is good as its always busy and most of the wait staff are Italian which I like in an Italian restaurant.

We've been regularly eating at pizza e birra for a couple of years now. Always great service, it does get busy but they will always try and accommodate you. Food is always delicious and like that you can order a carafe of wine. Pretty reasonable too!

Visited Sydney on the weekend. Stayed at Surry Hills so went to the supposedly highly rated Pizza e Birra on Saturday for dinner. My hubby's pizza had nice flavor however they were a bit skimpy with the hot salami and the base was not crispy BUT soggy. My other family members ordered one of their specials - prawn pasta and... If you want a good tasting wood fired pizza with a chilled buzz this is the restaurant for you. The staff had the right balance of checking on you during the meal and leaving you to enjoy the meal and the ambiance.

A group of us visited Pizza Birra on a Monday evening. We hadn't been aware that on Mondays there is an all you can eat for $20 offer. The result was that we gad to wait for our table and the place was packed. But even with a full restaurant and a queue outside the freshly made pizza was fantastic.... More

Service was good, food was OK. Rather pricey but very popular. If you want authentic rustic food at non rustic prices, this is your place. Pricing is probably average for this area though

Had an excellent lunch here. Pleasant ambiance and great food. All our pizzas were delicious - light and very tasty. Highly recommended. Tiramisu tasted a bit too strongly of coffee for our liking, and the coffee - cupaccino- wax only ok. But certainly worth Igor the pizzas.
