Food was delicious, service was great. We booked a table for 7 pm but a couple of friends were half an hour late but the staff were very accommodating and patient. Restaurant was full at the time and our mouths were watering every time a meal was delivered to the other tables

I've dined at Selah on around half a dozen occaisions. The menu is pretty briefbut everything is really good - steak, snapper etc. It's certainly not cheap but compared to some of the exorbitant places in town you get an excellent meal, nice service, good atmosphere and a decent wine list.

Any restaurant that survives the Sydney scene for 10 years as Selah does in a couple of weeks must be doing something right. I have been here many times, and can recommend it as a place for a reliably good food and service. Besides being referred by one waiter to another as "just a walk-in" last time I went there, the rest of the night was terrific as usual. The steak is always cooked perfectly. Really good ambience, particularly in winter.

I had read reviews that this was noisy so was put off but our Conceirge recommended and we were able to get in at the time that suited. We were thrilled with the whole experience. High quality good cooking in an informal restaurant convenient to the harbor hotels. Try these specialities: Wagyu Beef Potpie - melt in your mouth served itch "mushy peas" Autumn Root Vegetables - sautéed and then baked, great vegetarian Fish & Chips - at the top of the menu Nice wines, mostly nominally priced.
