Great diversity of taps

I love going to Bodega for a Friday lunch, when you can go through a selection of tapas over 90minutes or so. Great diversity of food and excellent wines to match.

I had heard about Bodega in Surry Hills before we went to Sydney and so I had high expectations, which thankfully were all exceeded! Bodega is divided into two rooms and we sat in the quieter room away from the bar. The food, cocktails, wines and service were all excellent. The desserts are also noteworthy. Our children shared most of... More

Food is ok - nothing special. Wine very expensive and the waitress was obsessed with reaching across in front of us and changing the wine glasses! Dont even think about it.

Wow we were talking about this place for days...the food was that good! My partner had friends visiting from the UK and we decided on something close to where they were staying. We were so pleased we decided on Bodega. The flavours of each dish were subtle but outstanding, the wines we had were brilliant. We had a problem with... More

Nothing annoys me more than having to pay $15.00 for a GLASS of wine in a restaurant! Now we are not talking fine dining here with tablecloths and Reidel Glassware. The other choice was $78.00 for a mediocre bottle of wine....???? Food....take it or leave it! Nothing out of the box and certainly not worth the $22.00/ $28.00 for a... More

Lovely place with good food, interesting flavours, good ambiance. Not too sure about the tongue on pancake, I thought the pancake was too sweet but overall a lovely lively place to hang out with good wines!

I went with a group of 6 friends on a Friday evening before Christmas. The bill came to $600 which is very expensive I think for what you get. When I took a look at the bill I also noticed that they had given me a glass of sparkling wine that cost $17.50! I was just at Rockpool for lunch... More

Bodega is a nice place to have some Argentinian style tapas. It is however very expensive for good food, but not very good food. The staff is friendly and we gave 4 stars because one dish, the fish fingers, was out of this world tasty!!!

Planned this for a birthday dinner and it didn't disappoint at all. Bodega is a busy little restaurant but thanks to Coco, we were seated quickly at a lovely table by the window. Service was great and attentive. The food was pretty good; the steak tartare was excellent, pork belly was a tad over-done but loved the crackling and the... More

Try the steak tartar, fish fingers and the beef brisket. Stay away from the lamb, it's good but not at the same level as the other dishes.
