Meat lovers - Nice location

A great dinner with friends - Meat meat and more meat. Make sure you skip lunch if you want to enjoy the experience. Nice location if visiting Sydney. Busy service. Good wine selection.

You can't beat this restaurant for location, Sydney Harbour all around, the bridge behind and the Opera House ahead. Wonderful. We liked it so much we went twice. The food was either very good or below average. On our first visit the lasagne was rather dull and tepid but the pizza delicious. On our second visit the sausage and mash... More

It was a nice restaurant, amazing location, great ambiance, with a superb view. There were a wide variety of dishes to choose from for everyone on the table but it is quite meat heavy.

This is a great place for carnivores. If you don't like eating heaps of meat, it may not be for you. The food and service of same is of high quality - delicious and served in a fantastic manner. It is certainly fine dining and at quite high prices. If you aren't used to that, be prepared. The decor is... More

Location and food are superb. Service good, but on a busy night it lacked a little. One of Circular Quay's top restaurants.

The food if of high standards (i ate alacarte) with great creativity in them. Service is a bit behind on the kitchen but not that much. If your not used to fine dining then you might think the... Attended th restaurant with my wife for our anniversary and spent 20minutes in the bar trying to get a drink. Ere is no doubt the food and the views are sensational but pretty disappointing on the service front.

It's been a few months but I just needed to offer my opinion. This restaurant is superb. Flavours are great and the atmosphere is cosy. Love it on a cold evening (it really is snug). You'll need to book, but definitely worth it whether you are seeing a play or just looking for great flavours!

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
