Food was very good but the service was poor. Wouldnt honour gift vouchers even though we rang to confirm ok. Ruined the night
We booked wildfire for a ninetieth birthday.the service was wonderful access was considered for us as per our request. Our mother was made to feel special the table was perfect, food lovely. No request too much trouble I would recommend wild fire for a lovely evening
On our last night of a 2 week trip to Australia we went to Wildfire on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We were seated promptly but it took the waiter quite some time to acknowledge us. Even though it was early in the night they were out of 3 different entrees. We waited 90 minutes for our first course... More
This restaurant is as advertised. We made a reservation a couple hours beforehand using their website and were subsequently seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant offers great views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbor, and has a great layout for all occasions. We ordered the Churrasco dinner with dessert and sides. Be sure to try all the different meat... More
I chose Wildfire for dinner with a friend from interstate because of me previous experienece here and the amazing view. Leaving out bottle of white wine on the table (with no intention of bringing an ice bucket for it), patronising attitude when I want to... More
We were disappointed with our food choice. The seafood pie was terrible. It looked like and tasted liike a big blob of instant potato mash which i think it was.it had 2 mussels 1 prawn and a couple of small fish pieces all floating in this potato mix .Thank goodness we ordered side dishes of veges.
Superb service, fantastic wine list, excellent food. Only downside are the prices but Sydney isn't cheap. Go after 18:00 and the cruise liner may have gone so you can enjoy the view. Stay until after dark and take your digestifs out to see 'Moon over Opera'
Top location with direct view on the Opera House - if there's no cruise parking in front of the restaurant. Superb wines including some boutique wines from Margaret River i. e. Woodlands. Food: Excellent and super-fresh seafood platter (5*), followed by an average Angus 300 g steak, accompanied by nice sauces. Home baked bread as amuse bouche - almost like... More
Loved the food- lobster was amazing. Service was fast and friendly- classy. Table setting was high quality, like the food and the prices. Lovely place and a must if you're visiting Sydney!
