It's all about the view

As buffet service goes the food is fresh, well presented and plentiful. Mix of Asian and Western flavours and plenty of fresh salad items. The trip here is really about the view. Time your visit properly, 2.15pm is good, to get the most out of your stay as you get kicked out after an hour... read more

We went for a meal here and the food was nice. There was a lot of choice and the food was kept fresh. Drink prices were reasonable but we were disappointed with the location of our table. We were not near the window at all so had no opportunity at all to take photos of look at the view. We... More

The most stunning views over one of the most stunning cities in the world. The restaurant rotates, approximately one revolution per hour. It is possible to see for miles in all directions. The real bonus is that the food is very good with plenty of variety to suite all palates. It is all freshly prepared, service is good, and the... More

Revisiting the tower after some 20 years and it is still has the wow factor. We went for a Sunday lunch and chose the 'taster' menu but ordered our own wines. The food was fabulous - the views staggering and as it wasn't busy, we were able to take 4 hours over lunch. A brilliant experience with views to die... More

My husband & I were given a Red Balloon gift voucher for Christmas from our daughter and son-in-law. We were very excited to know it was for the revolving restaurant. We booked in advance for Friday 8 January 2016. Our booking was confirmed. We also replied yes after receiving a text to confirm our booking. A few days before arriving... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
