Paella is...

Had our anniversary dinner with the family and ordered their famous Paella. Male waiter was very nice, he accommodated my request to have Seafood and Chorizo Paella that's not on the menu. Good customer service. However, the Margarita was lousy - had too much lime juice, Bruschetta on pizza crust... read more

My husband and I originally had planned to go to a Mexican restaurant down the road but after being ignored by three staff and then being told to go wait outside we decided to try something else. And I'm glad we did. The service at Spanish Tapas is fantastic and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The tables aren't squished too... More

We ate here with family the other night and enjoyed creamy garlic mushrooms, meatballs cooked in tomato sauce, deep fried calamari, garlic pizza and then the paella velenciana (combination of rice, chicken and seafood) for main. All the tapas dishes were great and although we asked for the garlic pizza to come with the tapas this didn't show up until... More

We were seated straight away by polite friendly staff. The food came out very quickly and was delicious! It was busy enough and the atmosphere was great. Was a bit noisy because there was a large party sitting beside us but that's the only negative. Also it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

We visited for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was amazing & so was the food. The food came out very quick and there was so much of it (mind you, it was a busy night). At the end of the night Spanish dancers took to the floor and put on a show. I'd definitely visit again.

We love Spanish food - I rarely have it in Sydney, as often I am left disappointed - this time was no different. We got a table by the window, which was wobbly and had to ask two times for someone to fix it. The restaurant wasn't busy as it was a rainy night, but service on the night was... More

This was my second visit to the restaurant and I have to say it's really good. The food is amazing and the paella is to die for. The reviews I've read about the oil is weird to me as I've been to Spain and it's similar. The staff are super helpful and attentive. I've been with my young niece and... More

Staying in Glebe

Neighborhood Profile
Glebe
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
