The outdoor garden is nice to sit in and have a drink and so on. Had the $33 deal - the trout. It said 400 gms - and I thought "yum" - but it turned out to be a whole trout. So watch out for that! Otherwise good value (drinks are $7.50 for a schooner); there was a DJ and... More

It is now El Loco at Slip Inn, they serves Mexican food. Famous and a must try is the hot dog, comes with cheese and jalapeño and chilli sauce from hot, hotter, and OMG.

Great place to hang out.... but not a big fan of the new Mexican kitchen. Much prefer the previous Thai kitchen! But overall, the place is still great for drinks... outdoor and indoor... casual meet up after work, close to everywhere.

Fantastic outdoor Mexican food, the chicken is huge and the prices all very reasonable. Highly reccomended.

We stayed opposite this hotel and as we'd put up with their thumping music for 3 nights thought if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Bad mistake, the staff acted like it was too much trouble to serve us and I've had equivalent food at MacDonald's for about a third of the price.

I understand that their chef is famous having appeared on one of those reality cooking shows. This could be their justification for overpricing their meagre meals. When I went here for lunch last Friday I ordered a Cuban sandwich and my partners ordered burritos. The "Cuban sandwich" was little different to a Big Mac but was roughly double its price.... More

This is exactly what a neighborhood Pub and Beer Garden should be! Fun, upscale but not pretentious with energetic party music playing. The crowd is mostly smart but casually dressed 30-somethings. Everyone seemed to be having a really fun time, as was I.
