This has always been a family favourite until a disastrous Mother's Day dinner. A recent menu change meant most of their old specialties had disappeared. Service was appalling. We waited an hour and a half to get entrees before being told that we could not get the 2nd course (San chow boi) of the 2 course Peking duck we had... More

As a seasoned Yum Cha eater - this venue is somewhat below par! Which is a shame (as previously stated by a fellow diner) - this place used to be one of the nicest places to eat Yum Cha on the North Shore The dishes are now quite expensive than most other places that serve Yum Cha. We mostly saw... More

What has happened to one of my favourite Yum Cha destinations? Has there been a change of ownership? One can only hope they are in the process of developing their...well...process. Service was super slow. Patrons looked like Meerkats popping their heads up to see if there was anyone coming with food. Where were all the dumplings and steamed goodies that... More

Sea Treasure serves the best yum cha in Sydney. I have been at least 20 times over the last few years and always enjoy the food. The place is always packed so service is hard to find. I have waited 30 minutes to be offered any dumplings before. The interior is very dated and in much need of a good... More

It was an aunt's birthday and she specified Chinese without us thinking about Chinese New Year. The pressure on staff was huge but they did it well and our aunt loved the food - ate more than she has done in years. Often find here they try and shunt you in and out too quickly but today worked well.

We arrived on a Friday night, table for 8. There were quite a few empty tables which was perhaps a sign of things to come. Ordered a number of dishes which arrived reasonably quickly. Food was pretty much thrown down on the lazy susan. Quality was just ok. Fairly dated interior could do with a revamp. I am not sure... More

Very good yum cha and seafood dishes from the tanks and menu. Service can be a tad strained at times, but generally efficient. If you park on the meters out the front, make sure you check before your time is up, the parking police here are ferocious. The steamed dumplings were the pick on the trays.

We have eaten at the Sea Treasure a number of times but after last week's experience we won't be going back! We decided on Yum Cha on sunday as I worked a night shift and the place opens at 10 am. Well yes it does however and we got our tea and eventually a couple of dumplings. There was no... More
