Great food

If you're looking for a suburban yum cha in Sydney, this is the place to go. Agree with earlier comments about service, the staff are surly and because they have trays rather than trolleys, they run out of plates more quickly, but if you see something you like the look of and wave at them, they... read more

You can't complain about the service - there isn't any! When the food finally arrived it was 8/10 and good for a suburban Chinese I don't think I'll be returning because I can get better quicker just a few kms away.

This use to be a family favourite but with the change of management its lost the edge. In the past uniformed waiters were chirpy and attentive. The night we went the staff were new and weren't sure what was on the menu. At one time we had three waiters hovering around our table. The food took a long time to... More

Excellent and freshly cooked food. Service was however a little slow for such a quiet night. Flavoursome.

The steamed dumplings and the been dish are very nice, as is the pork. I don't know about their a la carte stuff but I'd give it a try even though I don't particularly like Chinese. Reasonably good value but friends have said that it's gone downhill in recent years. Worth a visit.

I first went to Sea Treasure when it opened in the early nineties. It was fresh and innovative. It won Good Food Guide awards for a decade. It's still going strong but it's lost its pizazz somewhat and hasn't won a gong since 2006. The food is ok but nothing special. The entrance past fish tanks with slimy green pipes... More

Stayed in Nth Sydney recently planning to visit an old favourite for chinese cruisine. Unfortunately, when we tried contacting the restaurant it was closed for Xmas and not back to the new year. We then looked to Sea Treasure as an option. We have been many times to Sea Treasure in Crows Nest but only for Yum Cha (Dim sum)... More

We visit here fairly frequently for family yum cha as live locally. You can usually always get a table and service is friendly and quick. The yum cha comes around on plates which you can choose or reject. No waiting around for trolleys! You can also select from a menu and they are pretty quick to get the food to... More

This is our go to yum cha spot, partly because we live nearby but also because it is good! In fact several of our friends from the Eastern suburbs cross the bridge specifically to eat here too. The main dining room lined with fish tanks across the front end, is not as grand as some other Chinese restaurants but is... More

Like the Yum Cha always good but expensive expect to pay well over $50 for 2 of you without drinks. Wasn't overly impressed with the A la Carte dinner menu. Quite expensive and wasn't the most flavoursome chinese experienced by any stretch.
