Reasonably priced and unusual food served in a friendly and at tentative way.

While visiting family in Sydney we have had two meals at this restaurant. On both occasions we enjoyed the experience very much. The food is a mix of African/Arab South asian and European. OMG this place is booming, people flowing in all the time for a foreign taste of culinary arts! The food at RC is amazing, and clearly the owner takes his roots, which have inspired him for his restaurant, very seriously. From asia, india and all the way to The middle east, the food there is absolutely Delicious. The service is... More

Wasn't sure about this place when it was suggested but as it was our nephews favourite we decided to go. Very pleased we did. I only eat fish/seafood but found I had a few choices. Went for the prawns which were cooked to perfection. Service was good as was the music. Not too loud but loud enough to create a... More

A Sunday evening for dinner with family - early reservation very few people in the restaurant on our arrival but still had to wait and then ask for water! Have loved this place in the past but a very disappointing experience this time. Wait staff brusque and unfriendly, our meals plonked on the table; I ordered one of the specials... More

We visited Radio Cairo on recommendation of others, of which the food did in fact match my expectations. However, that's all that did. We booked for a Wednesday night, which wasn't overly busy at that hour, yet was seated by the window - with a view of the busy bus stop, and elbowing a cactus. Not ideal when your partner... More

I'll start with the positives. We booked at the restaurant for 8.30 on a Saturday night. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager or matre d. The restaurant was very busy and we we taken to our table very hastily. We were served by 2 waitresses both very busy almost throwing the menus on the table, but I... More

Went here for dinner with friends after seeing a film in the cinema opposite. Fortunately, we had booked a table, as the restaurant was heaving........I suspect this is the story most nights, so book ahead. Most of us had one of the various lamb dishes and pronounced them equally delicious. Beautifully tender. The side dishes of chats were great, as... More

Broad selection of food with influences from different countries. Great for sharing and tasting New flavours. Relaxed atmosphere while staff worked very professionally. My husband and I have been travelling for 10 weeks and this was one of our top favourite restaurants. Booking recommended, as its very popular.

5 friends including 3 interstate visitors on a summer's evening - very busy and buzzy but could still hear our conversations around the table! Reservation in place, good quick service and very friendly, excellent freshly cooked to order food, we placed the dishes on the table and shared. Wonderful mix of flavours we all enjoyed. They have the best sweet... More
