I ate at here because people here at TripAdvisor say this is the best Vietnamese in Sydney. I do agree that. My home is in Northern California, we have bunch of Vietnamese restaurants, but they can’t beat Phamish. This restaurant is serving varietal Australian quality materials with their Vietnamese ‘inspired’ cooking. Very tasty and process are quite affordable. Loved their... More

Went for dinner last night and it was great. Salt and Pepper prawns, with shallots, red chilli and shredded green chili, 12 in the dish for $21, value. Also crispy chicken with plum sauce, five spoice and lemon, also delicious my wife it was a bit fatty, I didn't. Add small corkage charge for our bottle of wine and a... More

I had great hopes for this restaurant especially after rave reviews from friends. The flavour and freshness of the food certainly did not dissappoint. There was a hectic atmosphere in the air... and we found out why when firstly a staff member started clearing dishes from the table when clearly we were not finished with our meals. Later, we were... We were fortunate to get a table quickly for a Friday night, although it was inside and I would recommend sitting outside as it can get noisy and stuffy. The service was pleasant, friendly and quick. The duck pancakes were fresh and delicious, as were the crab dumplings. The chicken plum sauce and the vegetables with rice were tasty and... More

We hadn’t visited for a while, I am not sure why! So last night (8th November 2013) three of us went to Phamish and shared a selection of dishes. The first starter was crispy blue swimmer crab dumplings. Yes, they are very crisp and the filling is succulent. A lovely start. We then moved to our long term favourite duck... More

This is one of my best restaurant by far in Sydney. I actually visited this restaurant based on couple of blogs I read. You need to get here early especially on Sunday, otherwise you need to wait for quite a while. You need to straight queue on the cashier to select and pay what you want, then they'll give you... The food in phamish was fantastic, the atmosphere is busy, loud & bustling. If you like attentive service this is not the place to come, it has a street stall feel about it where you go to the counter to order. In saying that I liked the atmosphere & would definitely go back for the food.

I have been to Phamish plenty of times over the years and never get disappointed. If you are planing to eat there try to get relatively early so you dont miss the duck pancakes, they're so popular they always run out and for good reasons!. They are my favourite, though everything in there I have ever tried is delicious, rolls... More

It was my first experience of Phamish tonight and I couldn't be less impressed. I ordered the rice paper rolls, which I had been told by my friend I was with, were delicious and I ordered the noodles with prawns. The rice paper rolls were dry and did not taste good. It later transpired that they were the vegetarian rolls,... More
