We ate here on our first day in Sydney and had a lovely lunch. Friendly staff, great location right on Darling Harbour waterfront, the Nicks Fisherman's Basket was great value as we shared it and it was more than enough for the two of us as we also shared a starter. Highly recommended!

A couple of years ago my wife was given a gift certificate for the fixed menu Special at Nick's. A fabulous promenade location with the rich mix of Sydney's visitors enjoying Cockle Bay and Darling Harbour means you will have plenty to see if you are seated near the front as we were. That time we could hardly finish the... More

We tried to get a reservation at another seafood restaurant in Darling Harbor but it was all booked for the evening, so the concierge at our hotel recommended Nick's Seafood Restaurant. The menu looked interesting but in the end the food was disappointing. I had the grilled snapper, which was OK but certainly not memorable. What was memorable was that... More

Nice location, great menu, some spectacular shellfish dishes. We found the seafood second tier, good but not great. Seafood chowder too flour-ey. Cold seafood entree very good, octopus great.

Waiter took drinks order but did not return for food order until we had finished those drinks. I was told pie I ordered would take 15 minutes. In fact it took 35+ minutes and the potato accompanying it was tepid. Hubby's fish and chips was a meagre serving. Second round of drinks never appeared. We decided to leave. It was... More

Took a short walk from the star hotel across. Service from the staff was prompt even though it was quite crowded. The soup is very hearty, recommended. As for the mains I will recommend the salmon tail its very good.

Basically, you are paying for the view of Darling Harbour and the atmosphere. Dont get me wrong, the food is good but a bit overpriced. Additionally the service was slow and when we paid our bill they gave us the wrong amount of change. Also, when our orders came to the table they also sent us a bowl of chips... More

Been to Nick's at Bondi but now they are at Cockle Bay wharf.Food always good but very pricey.Steak ordered was rather small for the price and only 2 prawns with surf and turf. My son wasn't impressed with the size of the steak as he is a big boy.I had a rissotto dish which was very tasty but again the... More

We decided we wanted sea food when we found ourselves in Darling Harbour on a Sunday evening so Nicks seemed to be the place to go. We were shown to a table and given menus and the next contact was about 10 minutes later. We ordered our drinks and wine at the same time as our food and in the... More
