Great food and service

I ate here for the first time today and it was great. We had the seafood platter for two and dessert crème brûlée and selection of sorbets with a glass of rose each. A really nice location, easy access and good service. I was impressed. I would definitely come back here again.

We ate at the restaurant in Darling Harbour at the recommendation of our hotel nearby and I'm so glad we did. We loved our dinner so much the first night, we came back again the next night.. The seafood chowder ranks with the best I've ever had, and the prawns were absolutely the best ever! So fresh and tasty. I... More

Perhaps the best seafood restaurant in Sydney CBD. We have has several family and business dinners at this place and every time we enjoyed the food and the service. The surroundings are awesome with Cockle Bay Promenade to walkabout before or after the meals. Very much family friendly. Kids are welcome too! It's pricey but OK for once a while.

Nick's on Cockle Bay is a 'must go'for any couple visting Sydney. The food is, not cheap, but not exhorbitant. The hot and cold seafood platter is the signature dish(I advise not eating too much prior to tackling this platter!) The only downside is that on busy nights, service can be a little slow.Try and do your research as there are often... More

What better place to have Sydneys Seafood than at a table in the sun at Nicks Seafood at Cockle Bay Sydney. We started with cocktails and settled in for a lovely lunch We had lobster, seafood plates, perfectly cooked fillet steak, the most delicate ravioli of crab in pernod cream sauce, crab salad and fresh prawns. Then we moved to... More

I've just arrived in Sydney, & "Nick's" was recommended by a friend who lives here... So dining at Nick's was my very first experience in the city.. & certainly a great one 👍👍👍 Ordered the "Hot & cold platter for two" & it was "heavenly!!" I scraped the last bit out of that platter... Every piece of the varied seafood... More

we were made to feel very welcome. The waiter was very helpful and assisted us with our selections. The greek salad was ok and could have been better it had far too much lettuce that looked like it had been cut in quarter and popped in the bowl. The seafood was very very good.

Whilst staying in Sydney we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and Nick's was the nearest open restaurant. The poached eggs that my brother and his wife ordered were not only cold, but also waterlogged and tasteless. My scrambled eggs had obviously been cooked on a stone grill and then cut into ribbons - overdone and again tasteless. Service... More
