Stopped by late on a Friday -- the harbour was still buzzing but restaurants less so. GREAT grilled fish and assorted, shared starters. Good service.

We ordered the seafood platter for two and drinks. The waitress brought out our drinks and proceeded to spill all of the drinks all over me! She was very apologetic but I was drenched and sat in wet clothes all night - I wasn't offered a towel, just a few napkins. Meal, however, was lovely and fresh. When we went... More

I go here for the seafood platter (with the lobster mornay - very traditionalist). I began a quest to find the best seafood platter in Sydney and, at this stage, Nicks is number 1. Why? It is generous, impressive, but also incredibly well cooked, by that I mean not overcooked. We've indulged in it several times (for special occasions), and... More

We ordered early, the staff were excellent, friendly and attentive but bit too much. Cool. We shared the 2 person seafood platter and it was outstanding. A terrific, night.

I visited here on Sat. night 30th Aug with my husband and another couple. To start with I could not fault the service, with a very crowded restaurant. Although it was a cold night there were plenty of outdoor heaters which we actually had to turn down. I was a bit worried not having eaten here in about 8 years... More

When dining here the KISS (keep it simple stupid) approach is best as is with most seafood restaurants. What is everyone's concerns when dining at a seafood restaurant? IS IT FRESH? Here it absolutely is! Whole king prawns with butter & garlic, fresh & simple, flesh pulls out of the shell easy, grilled John Dory moist & succulent, snapper fillets... More

Worst seafood in Sydney. Over priced rubbish. Don't bother eating at Nick's Seafood Restaurant there are plenty of better restaurants close by.

We pride ourselves on its simplicity and freshness without adding too many ‘fattening’ agents to the dish. We can only hope that you give us another chance one day to offer you a different... More

We had a Fishermans Basket and it was fantastic although we were unable to eat all the chips because of the amount of seafood in the dish. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.

I was so disappointed in my meal here. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a piece of barramundi, cooked to death, on a plate. No presentation, no lovely vegetables or anything. I felt it was very geared to the tourist market so I hope people don't leave thinking this is what Australian Fine Dining looks like.

Dear travelbunny We are sorry to hear that you feel that way about the product in which we pride ourselves on, our seafood. There is no excuse for us to overcook your fish and had we known on the night, we would have replaced it immediately. We do have a lengthy and long standing database of regulars who speak for...
