Was expecting to taste some very good dishes based on the setting and prices. No where near what you would get in Malaysia especially the curry dish which was called Kapitan chicken. Loads of coconut milk is a forgone thing in curries these days. Ambience was good and waiters were warm.

I recently visited Sydney for a business trip. There was a dinner arranged at Neptune Palace Restaurant. There were over 20 of us, so it was decided that we would go one of the banquet choices from the menu. We obviously chose the right option. The entree included prawn, mussel and pork dishes. They were very nice, however, the real... More

I dine here regularly on my own. The prawns and calamari are incredibly fresh and well worth the return trip. Beef dishes also ok. The rest of the dishes, particularly the Malaysian dishes are ordinary. No MSG which is good. Quite expensive but seafood is fresh and servings are on the large side. Decor uninspiring.

Together with my wife we decided to go and see a show at the Opera House. I had seen the signs for Neptune Palace but had never been. We decided to give it a go. We dined in the upper area. The restaurant is very nicely appointed and we were made to feel very welcome. In fact the waiter who... More

Great food (especially soft shell crab) and very friendly / efficient waiters makes for a great dining experience. I wasn't expecting such high quality Chinese / Malaysian food : so often restaurants serve gloopy generic Asian.

Great venue in downtown area for a group dinner. Chose this restaurant to host my Mother's 80th birthday. Table of 8, great food and service and not too noisy so we could all converse with each other. Very friendly staff who looked after us very well. A few stairs to climb if dining on upper level, Toilets on lower level... More

We go to neptunes whenever we are in Sydney. Capitan Chicken is to die for! Can't wait to go back. Super fast and friendly service. Worth the extra money.

The food was good, large quantities, wine was excellent but very expensive overall, not value for money.

This was a last minute catch up for dinner after my darling wife had spent the day on the beach at Manly with the kids. We have been visiting Neptune's for many years and the delicious foods have never disappointed. The service is top notch Their website has a menu if you need to peruse before going for probably the... More

Neptune Palace is a very popular luncheon place for business folk. The staff are always welcoming and they provide a good service throughout the visit. I come to lunch with a Malaysian/Chinese mate a couple of times a year and have been doing so for a number of years. When one comes often you can get in a rut ordering... More
