From what I can tell from previous reviews, this place has been overhauled, it had monkey bar written on the windows but renamed le pub. It has nice meals and good selection of drinks. French style.

We went there to meet freinds for drinks in the evening. The atmosphere was dead, there was a handfull of people in the bar and to be blunt a few were very undesirbale, loud, drunk and looked like they were homeless. Wont be going back to the Moneky Bar in a hurry.

have dined there 4 days in the last week and a half. Stayed on the top street bar. 3 times we ate from the light menu and 1 time from the Tapas menu. Very nice venue. Little cold up the front when the front door and sliding windows are permamenetly open. Great Value!
