Good value tasty seafood

I have been to Mohr fish several times and have enjoyed every dish I have tried except maybe for the odd dessert. I especially like their prawn dumplings and the monk fish dish. They do BYO too The only issue is that they are so small and not being able to book makes it very hard to get a table.

I have been to Morh Fish countless times, usually i meet up with the girls or my sisters and i go there for dinner catchups. The Bouillabaisse is by far my favourite meal. It isnt a large restaurant so you might need to wait for the next available table, but if you put your name and number down you can... More

The place is small but cute, service is fast and the quality of the fish is really good. Sometimes is hard to find all that in one place (in Sydney). I totally recommend this place and choose the scallops please !!!!!

It is a place that I would definitely revisit after the first dining in and surely a good recommendation for my friends too. One thing that impressed me the most is the freshness of the seafood they serve. It was really delicious and unforgettable. The stuff are amazing in terms of meeting customers' needs. Overall, it was such a wonderful... More

This is a lovely, charming restaurant with a small floor space but a large waiting list after 7pm on busy nights. Fecommend the Barrumundi, it was served with a beautiful light crumb and tomato base with veggies and gnocchi. The restaurant is licensed, but also allows for BYO. Very popular for takeaway, too. Delicious fish!

We were visiting friends who live just by Surry Hills, and they took us to Mohr for a meal on our first evening in Sydney. It’s a tiny place, reminding me of old fashioned “chippies” in the UK, but with the additional seated area. The menu was varied, and our friends suggested we try the oysters as part of the... More

Both takeaway and restaurant are one of the best fish meals you can get. Love the quirky restaurant and the magnets on the fridge at home are a great reminder of the experience. I had the grilled monk fish and it was excellent and my wife had the beer battered flathead, the batter is so light and crispy it just... More

What a wonderful setting for a really tasty fish & chips! The battered fish is covered in lovely light crispy golden batter.chips that were obviously cooked in clean oil....NO greasy meal at this fish restaurant. The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Yet another good night out was had by our party of four.

A pleasant walk away from our appartment in Darlinghurst is this quaint? eccentric? fish & chip shop which has four tables and offers a limited range of really well cooked fish and seafood dishes. Very limited seating, doesn't allow basic fish & chip customers to eat on the premises but does offer the more exotic dishes for takeaway. The basic... More
