I used to travel to Sydney frequently when I was a flight attendant. Every trip our crew would go to Mohr Fish one or both of the nights. We would plan to get there at 5:00pm so there was no wait as there are only a few tables. We would bring a couple bottles of wine and have a great... More

You know what, in terms of food (fish particularly) one of the best places Especially for the price they sell it... it's sooooooo worth more! Their Dory fish with (i think mango salsa? not 100% sure as tried few dishes there) with gratin potato is just... great! the place itself is a bit less than nothing special, to be honest,... More

This tiny restaurant has only four tables, plus counter seating and take-away meals. The style is informal and staff are friendly. The fish is excellent - imaginative dishes, cooked with skill, and generous serves. Wine is available by the glass from the small but well-chosen wine list. We had a great meal in this great little place. The only downside... More

We had a really incredible meal here tonight! Every course was excellent, and the fish cooked to a perfect (in my opinion) point where it was hot but not overcooked. This is really hard to do, and I have had many meals where they missed the mark. The chef here really knows what she is doing!

A small former butcher shop has been converted to a fish restaurant. The fish is excellent and beautifully cooked. The limited wine range is complimentary, and the cost is very reasonable. A complete stranger brought us in his car when he learned we were looking to eat seafood. We are indebted to him. I ate a fish called baramundi (or... More

We dinned here recently and found it to be as good as previous visits- snapper in particular was very good. All portions generous, lots of potatoe mash bed for the fish .All fresh and perfectly cooked, even at closing. Still able to get a beer from the Shakespeare across the lane and bring it to table. Perfect for fish dinner for... More

We use Mohr fish as our default fish and chip takeaway. It's very close to the railway station and there is a nice park across the road where you can sit on a bench and consume your food. A set of fish and chips and salad costs 10.50 and is enough for a small meal for two. The service is... More

This is a small small place, but don't let that fool you. The food is delicious and fresh, we had the swordfish and the fish pie, there was nothing left on the either of our plates... Nothing. We then had the lemon tart which was a very refreshingly lemony with the right amount of tartyness, the rhubarb crumble was good... More

Had a nice dinner here with a friend, cute cafe/restaurant with good service, small but nice menu and byo. We ordered the soft shelled crab, just beautiful, however my main of sworrdfish wasnt fresh and I had to sent back. I am lover of swordfish, but cutlet was thin and tasted aweful. I advised the waitress who was very apologetic and... More

I have been eating here for at least 15 years if not longer, and as I can't eat fish I think that says a lot for the menu here. My friends clamour to come here for the chef's many, many ways with fish, and for me there is always something very special involving squid or prawns. Last week I had... More
