Still GOOD

Went to this place - our first fine dinning place - after returning to Sydney after 4 years, purely for nostalgic reasons. We used to come here pretty often. And it did not disappoint us this time around too. Very good subjis - we had palak paneer - good rotis and very good ambience. Though... read more

A family of 4, didn't like the food, cleanliness and the overall commercial feel of everything. Its good for situations when you don't have a neighborhood takeaway shop open, but if your idea is a sit-in, do not go there. Its loud and food doesn't talk to you. Overcooking looses everything, the real colors, the real flavors. We ordered vege... More

Been coming here for many years and has always been reasonably priced and good value the food is authentic and I bet you can't find a better samosa anywhere. Usually can't go past the thali as you get to try lots. If you are into Indian sweets you will have fun. Enjoy

If you want authentic Indian food - do not look beyond Maya Masala. The only issue we find here is tough to find parking spot and also tables are too close to each other. These things are not in the restaurant's control and are limited by location, space and demand. The food however never disappoints and we keep going back.

I have been here a few times and I really liked the wide variety of vegetarian dishes that were on offer .. and for me the best is the Dosa. The sweets were equally delicious. Loved the food here..

I lived around the corner from Maya Masala for 2 years and never went there. As it's purely vegetarian, and I'm a vegetarian, that's ridiculous. In my defence, I went upstairs to Maya Tandoor a few times and enjoyed the food there, but always overlooked the downstairs Masala venue as it seemed like more of a sweets shop than a... More

Always enjoy my Punjabi Thalis at this restaurant. Only disappointment is that the staff always hide themselves and seem always too busy to attend customers. Simply having a TV shouting out Bollywood movies is not always the answer. If the owner could just take a little more care with customers it would be great.
