I have just recently gone for dinner. I thought after losing a hat they would be doing everything to get it back, but it seems they are not. Service was good but in my eyes not 3 hat standard and food was a big let down. None of the courses of food blew me away and none were memorable. I'm... More

We went for the Friday lunch last week ($45), which is a three course lunch. It gives you a pretty good idea of what Marque is like - interesting flavours, nice presentation, great service - but at a more affordable price. The dessert was a bit disappointed as it was kind of just like plated fruit. The bonus is the... More

Some interesting ideas around some of the dishes but some also falling quite flat. Wine matching was quite strange in many cases.

I have been many times and have reviewed before and still feel that this restaurant delivers. The modern ambience is quiet enough, the elegant tables dressed beautifully and when the dishes arrive they are visually delightful and usually a challenge to the palate. Have the tasting menu with the matched wines and enjoy the chef's creativity. All dishes were creative,... More

have been there on few occassions over the years and try hardest to love this place even when was 3 hats and in top 50 places in the world. FF few years, down to 2 hats, gone form top 100 restaurants...hopefully he got the message. everything is unoriginal. He travels around the world and visits the 2-3 star joints and... More

As much as many of the dishes were well presented and elegantly prepared, many of the flavours did not work. Out of the 8 courses on the tasting menu, I can only say one couse was outstanding, which was the quail, succulently cooked close to perfection. Otherwise, the other courses felt disjointed and there was no natural flow to the... More

I respect a chef who’s not shy at challenging his diners. Case in point, the Moreton Bay Bug (delicious) with Candle of Fire Radish (OK) and Saltwort, a plant that lives near the ocean in salty climes. Looks beautiful…but agh, chewy and not so pleasant. My dining partner didn’t mind the sharp mustard flavour in the wafer accompanying coconut and... More

I was very excited to try Marque since I have heard many good reviews about it. However, my experience wasn't as good. I had the tasting menu and all the dishes were very average. There was not one dish which was outstanding for me. Very disappointed. Service was great though.

I've been to lots of 3 hats restaurant and this one totally ruined my experience. The food is something I just can't understand, each dish tasted completed wired. Totally agreed with the previous reviewer, even those dessert does not make any sense. Plus service and atmosphere is pretty average.
