Feisty and efficient!

This place is an institution, they are quick, don't much around, all the food on Te menu is of high quality, the staff although efficient don't budge much on their national interpretation of English, pleasantries are not going to attract bees to honey. Just be straight to the point, and let them... read more

We got in straight away early but were asked to vacate the table by 7 thats okay we only took 40 minutes. the spring rolls were... More

We have been told to go for Yum Cha by many friends and family and on other trips had not managed to fit it in. On our trip last weekend to celebrate a cousin's birthday and a later flight on a Sunday, we though lets get in. So a group of 10, the trolleys kept coming and the dumplings and... More

As I didn't have to work and it's that time of year we thought it would be good! We read a few reviews and it sounds like an institution. It was a queue to get in the elevators when finally in, they went down and not up. We went to the fourth floor not sure if you can go to... More

This is a noisy, brusque yum cha restaurant which makes you feel as though you are in Hong Kong, and that's both good and bad. Accept the cultural differences and enjoy the food, and go outside your usual experience. Try the chickens' feet.

Part of what makes this restaurant one of sydneys top Yum Cha restaurants as well as the food is the service. We went for lunch on Australia Day it was packed, there were about 10-12 people waiting in front of us and we were still seated in under 10 minutes, with tea on the table and a food trolley by... This is not fine dining! Its yum cha. its crazy, chaotic, loud. The service is haphazard, but if you get in there and have a go, grab whatever goes past (including waiters if you want a drink) then its a fantasic experience. Food is good, some items are great, and the ambience is all that you want in a yum... More

Went with 2 adults three kids for first yum Cha for the family! Food was good, service was good couldn't really fault them. Th kids were relaxed and it was busy in the restaurant. We enjoyed the dim sum and trying different dishes. But the shock was in the bill, 150 with a soft drink each, and we didn't eat... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
