I love this place - been there at least 10 times and was never dissapointed. These guys are consistently good. Food is always fresh and the atmosphere is great. more

Every now and again it's great to go to a funky place that's hyper-busy and just join the in crowd for a night. As a bonus, Longrain serves superb food. I visited Longrain with my 19 year old son after reading such wonderful reviews. Firstly I had a problem with the seating. Having to sit next to each other rather than in front of each other was quite uncomfortable . It was lunch time and the restaurant was at 25% capacity.The only service that was quick was our drinks. This is a great restaurant, i like the atmosphere a lot, there is a big table that every one can sit at, or you have you own table, and it is pretty cool you can meet new people, the food is great they have some spicy dishes but you can ask them to tone it down, great apps and rice... more
Not having much time before the Pink concert, we still decided to eat at this renowned Thai noshery in Surry Hills. I live in sydney but travel extensively. One of te first things I do whenever I get back is go to longrain- it remains my favourite restaurant worldwide. what they do with coconut and deserts is unbelievable. more
