I ate at Longrain in a group of 5 recently and I'm sorry to say, it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it. The food was excellent as always but the room was really clattery and noisy - not a great place to catch up with old friends. And we were even in a side-room! Also found the downstairs... More

This restaurant does not take bookings so expect to wait for a table. But don't worry the wait is definitely worth it! We waited in the bar, nibbled on the most amazing dumplings, and enjoyed some wine. The host was incredibly friendly and keep us updated with regards to our waiting time. When we were finally seated we were greeted... More

This place is just amazing. Has such a good reputation thought we would try for ourselves. Good vibe, service and backed up with fantastic food. Try the Pork Hock you will not be disappointed. Save some room for the dsesserts. I had the coconut, honeycomb ice cream- sorbet. Delicious. Yum, yum, yum! Will be back for more.

Delicious dinner, thai inspired so don't expect your normal run of mill aussie thai restaurant. Very good value for money considering the quality and portion size. Highly recommend the lamb neck special if available. Modern atmosphere but be prepared to sit closely next to each other rather than opposite, bit awkward for some but ok for us.

Had another great dinner here last night, the menu isn't extensive (a good thing!) so a group or 5 can sample most of it. The eggnet and pork hock were the standouts by consensus, I knew the pork hock would win favourite dish (having had it 4x now), it is close to perfection, you have to try it! I wouldn't... More

Lovely dinner with my family. I felt that the food was really good, but I feel that perhaps the menu is light on vegetarian dishes. The staff were a little slow, but made up for this with their great knowledge of the menu, and were really sensitive to the dietary requirements of our table. The drinks menu is amazing, and... More

Start with the Betel leaves, and then share some pork hock, beef shin, a curry and if it's on the menu, the delicious fresh Barramundi. A few signature cocktails should also not be missed. And try and leave some room for the dessert platter... especially the duck egg palm sugar custard. If you're on the go and are looking for... More

Great restaurant but be prepared to pay for it. With a cool bar to start off at cocktails are at a price that would knock you over at the knees. The hip cool vibrant corporate crowd call this venue their local drinking hole and rightly so - it is trendy, modern and kool. Reservations aren't so as important as the... More

Had dinner there last night. The food was good (although the menu was very small!) and service attentive, but certainly not worth the price. And this is coming from someone who regularly dines out and spends quite a bit each time. You would be better off trying some of Sydney's other better Thai restaurants, leave this one to the people... More

Food was very good. Service was good. However, the whole experience was ruined by: paying very high prices for comparable Thai food available in Sydney for less than half the price this place charges. Noisy despite the place only being a quarter full; so noisy that we could barely hear each other across the table. Finally, as there in no... More
