Guilt Free Great Wholesome Food

Discovered the IKU takeaway food bar gem in the Sydney CBD on our xmas trip. Just loved the great quality, tasty fresh food. We stocked up on veggie cakes, wraps, goopy sticky rice desserts (yum) and a bottle of their own tahini dressing. Took them back to our hotel for breakfast and snacks, and... read more

Iku is such an easy place to grab a hearty, bite to eat. Filled with lots of plant-based, vegan and vegetarian options, you can't go wrong. This is strictly a light-lunch place only with a limited menu. However, everything is healthy and filled with vegetables, rice, seaweeds and flavour. Whatever you do, make sure you get something with that tangy... More

The food was delicious, but Iku in Glebe is really just a take away joint, with a few bar stools. I had a great vegan laksa and a salad and rice balls, but felt rushed by the only member of staff who clearly wanted to shut up shop and get home, although it was only about 8pm on a Friday... More

i've been going here on and off for a few years. the food is very healthy and delicious. i do find it a little pricey for what it is but i always feel like i've eaten well afterwards. the food items haven't really changed over the years hence i tend to get bored and stay away for a while until... This whole food café was a real surprise! Delicious food at a very reasonable price including free tea & water. For diners seeking a healthy & delicious option, I would certainly recommend iku whole food (there are other locations in and around Sydney). Friendly staff, appropriate décor, even a pigeon was a regular visitor! Unable to advise on specific dining... More

I'm always glad to find somewhere for dinner with so many gluten free options. However when i ordered dahl for dinner, the girl that worked there looked at me confused, even though it was on the menu. It was a good sized serve with rice, however it just lacked that extra something. Overall was a bit boring.

It's really refreshing to get high quality, tasty and interesting 'fast' food. Their salads are outstanding and curries always tasty. I always come away feeling healthy and nourished!

Wish we had found them earlier in our stay in Sydney. Bought a couple of things yesterday from the shop in Westfield Plaza then went to Oxford Street today to buy food for our flight.Had a free cup of very nice green tea whilst waiting for our order to be wrapped. Had a macro burger which was delicious and snacks... More

Had the seasonal veggies with a slice of spinach, miso and white bean quiche. Really tasty and the dressing wasn't overbearing.

I love the Iku wholefoods selections. This one in Oxford Street has a big sized area to sit down and eat, which some of the other Iku's don't have. I find it very hard to decide what to order because everything looks delicious. I think the mixed dish is my favourite - a bit of everything. Also the rice balls... More
