I love Yum Cha, from my very first time 35 years ago, till now. A fathers day gift from my son who also knows I love this kind of food. I have been to a few really dodgy places to eat this form of Chinese food, and apart from the yams, this was almost the worst I have ever had,... More

I've been here plenty of times and I always enjoy the food. They have a great selection of yum cha dishes and all of them are of high quality. I've only eaten dinner here once and I was a bit disappointed (food was bland and a bit too oily), so now I only go for the yum cha.

We have been eating yum cha here for many years. Always a good selection of dishes and the food is very tasty. Gets a little crowded on weekends. Well worth a visit.

Wednesday lunch - nice selection; good and friendly service; quick with trolleys; clean and aesthetically pleasant dining area; price was pretty good for what we got ($40 pp with drinks and tea incl. tip + dessert)

Not keen on yum cha, I found this place at 11:00am for yum cha pretty good. The service was excellent, they asked us to order 1 to 2 dishes as we were early and then the trays would come around. The dim sums were perfectly steamed and particularly good is the fried sesame prawns. The service was not pushy and... More

Where do I start, $4 for a small coke, only seafood dumplings, no pork, there was only 5 different dumplings, loads of stuff on the yum cha menu but they had a very limited amount on the trolleys, we even asked if they had anything else but where told this was all they had. $12 for 2 small duck pancakes....no... We've been visiting the Greenwood Chinese for a few years now, mostly for yum cha, and the quality has steadily improved over time. We've been to quite a few yum cha places around Sydney and mostly they disappoint compared to the Greenwood. It's not a massive place like some of the Chinatown restaurants, but weekends are busy so the yum... More

This is average yum cha, which would be fine if not for the fact the Sea Treasure is just a mile down the road. So it's hard to sit in this restaurant and not compare each dish against the corresponding dish at the Sea Treasure, and measured like that the Greenwood looks pretty pale by comparison. Not bad, just not... More
