The Worst Customer Service

I've been going to Golden Century at least every month for the past two years & progressively with time it was starting to get worse. Not only the crab but the general customer service. After a long night of night auditing (I work in a hotel) I had decided to go to one of my fav spots. Worse... read more

The Concierge from our Hotel recommend this to us when we asked about a great Chinese restaurant. I don't eat seafood but there was plenty of other choices on the menu. We went on a Wednesday night, so we were seated straight away, it was just the 2 of us. The downstairs part was nearly full and people were going... More

My Family and I go here often, and often travel to Sydney just to eat here! My husband is a fan of the pippies with XO sauce and I love the cantonese beef and their rice, whilst the service is nonchalant at best, I never really care as the food is the absolute best!

One of the best places in Chinatown for seafood and late night dinners. The food is always fresh and you can pick your own live seafood from the tanks or let the staff bring it to your table before it gets handed over to the kitchen. The service is what you'd get in most Chinese restaurants, so don't expect too... More

Wanted to try out Chinatown and this place is mentioned in the travel guide we have. Very extensive menu with almost every Chinese dish available. Fresh fish and shellfish (in tanks in the restaurant) and probably the largest wine list I have ever seen in a Chinese restaurant! We ordered and in doing so was advised by the waiter that... More

Queues out the doors and 40 minute waiting to be seated. The service was efficient and prompt. Entrees were really nice, better than the mains. I do suspect it depends what you order. Was a bit unimpressed by what we ordered. A bit stodgy and plain. Perhaps a better menu choice would have reflected on a better review. Seems a... More

The Golden Century Seafood restaurant on Sussex Street was a busy popular place the evening we went to dine there - with a tiny inadequate waiting area in the front lobby - it uses every square inch of space in the downstairs and upstairs dining rooms to accommodate their patrons. The tables can accommodate 16! We were 10 adults and... More

I love seafood cooked in Chinese style. Kinda pricey, but the food really taste great. You just have to consider to order only what you can eat since their serving is a little bit big for 1 person, good for sharing

The best Chinese seafood restaurant I've ever been to and I make sure I go at least twice every time I visit Sydney. Bring a few friends so that you can sample King Crab cooked two ways, indulge in the lobster with ginger and spring onions, the luxury of fresh abalone and steamed clams and prawns. It's all cooked from... More

I went to this restaurant on 8 Dec 2014 with my wife and 2 kids. We had to wait nearly an hour before our food came. Other tables received food before us, even though they came after us. We queried our order many times, but the waitress kept on saying, 'It's coming.' The food was good. Shame about the service.
