Very good Chinese, but does not come cheap and gets very busy, so arrive out of hours or book. Open till the wee hours and it's still busy then. The seafood from the tanks is really good so tend to stick to it.

The last time I was at Golden Century was in 2007. It was busy, lively, good but nothing special to rave about. I was there again on 12 July 2014 to celebrate my mother's birthday. Ok, let's give the restaurant some credit where credit is deserved. The food was authentic, meals came out quickly, the tables were clean, the tanks... More

Very popular, we arrived before the crowds and it did fill very quickly, food was very good, service very quick, pretty bland decor with a giant crab at the entrance to the top level, tea pots always kept full.not the cheapest place to dine in Chinatown area

Big restaurant in the middle of chinatown. Very popular, with queues outside sometimes. Food is nice but nothing special. Large range of fresh seafood available. The food we had was probably a little too salty for my liking. Service is very quick, tea is re-filled constantly without asking. Very good service even though the staff don't smile. I suspect they... More

Not the cheapest place to eat if you are by yourself but this place is opened until 3:30am last booking. I have only ever had the beef brisket and turnip which I quite like. One of these days If I'm feeling rich I would like to try the 12 score Wagyu at $72 for 200g.

In the heart of Sydney's Chinatown, on the hill of Sussex St, there's a Chinese restaurant very different than any other around: the Golden Century. Two young ladies will greet you outside and take you to your table. Beware that this restaurant is always very busy and quite often there's a waiting period to be seated. Crowded with patrons of... Visiting from Brisbane we asked our taxi driver where was a good place to eat that wasn't far from our hotel. His suggestion, the Golden Century Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown. Harry your recommendation didn't disappoint. The place was pretty packed at 9pm with opening hours until 3.30am. We were shown promptly to our table and for the rest of the... More
