Food delicious, terrible service

The food was very delicious and came quickly even though they were busy. The tiny table was not big enough for 6 people, we were told to move tables because there was another family who they wanted to give the bigger table to. They were also a party of 6. Even though the food is great for the price... read more

Best ever. Even the service was great which is sometimes lacking in busy Asian restaurants. We had the mud crab which was so so good. The salt and pepper prawns...best I've ever had. This place is fantastic...go!

Reasonable service by staff luckily the food was above average. The price range was also reasonable don't expect anything cheap.

The food was delicious and arrived very quickly and the waiters were all very polite. An exceptional way to experience Chinese food in Sydney.

Seafood was of top quality, fresh and well-cooked. Other dishes recommended by staff were great as well. Food wise, the restaurant deserves a good rating. Cleanliness and service however, could be improved. The area we were seated smelled a little funky, couldn't pinpoint the smell (someone puked? leftover food from 100 yrs ago hidden somewhere?) but it definitely wasn't pleasant.... More

Not a restaurant for the average family trying to budget, as you have to spend $20pp. NO GLUTEN OR DAIRY FOOD DISHES !!!! for the allergy sufferers, unless you have boiled rice and steamed seafood. They would not even cater for our needs. Staff were RUDE!, ignored you, unhelpful and stuck up!! Then upon paying the bill, asked for a... More

If you like fresh seafood, go to this restaurant. We went to Sydney fish market in the morning and got recommendation, as tgis restaurant takes freh šeafood directly from fish market on the daily basis. Reservation recommended as it was full on weekday evening. Very nice, polite and helfull. You can by alive fish directly from restaurant.

The fresh seafood is expensive but the quality is high and it is well cooked. We had the thinly sliced abalone that is then poached and it was well cooked and delicious. The crispy chicken with sliced ginger is outstanding. The skin is very crispy, the ginger is superb, the sauce is good and the chicken itself is tasty. A... More

Best food, best service, best wine selection, the steam grouper is always prefect! I will always visit when I'm in Sydney.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighborhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theater, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
