The food was done right. We ordered Sashimi Lobster with Hotpot (clear soup with vegetables), the head and legs was stir-fried with ginger scallion. Very good dish, the lobsters meat was so sweet and fresh. The stir fried dish was also very nice taste. The pippies stir fried with xo sauce was another good dish of the day. All eating... More

Went with a party of 11 approximately 10 days ago for a banquet birthday. Food was excellent and service OK. Peking duck is great and all food was well presented and tasty. Meal did not break the bank (although the wine bill wasn't pretty). Definitely recommend

I have been to this restaurant on many occasions over the last 10 years, and I must say it doesn't ever disappoint. On a Friday or Saturday night you will need to book otherwise you will be waiting in line for a table, even though it is quite a big restaurant over two floors. I suppose that must tell you... More

Very good Chinese, but does not come cheap and gets very busy, so arrive out of hours or book. Open till the wee hours and it's still busy then. The seafood from the tanks is really good so tend to stick to it.

The last time I was at Golden Century was in 2007. It was busy, lively, good but nothing special to rave about. I was there again on 12 July 2014 to celebrate my mother's birthday. Ok, let's give the restaurant some credit where credit is deserved. The food was authentic, meals came out quickly, the tables were clean, the tanks... More

Big restaurant in the middle of chinatown. Very popular, with queues outside sometimes. Food is nice but nothing special. Large range of fresh seafood available. The food we had was probably a little too salty for my liking. Service is very quick, tea is re-filled constantly without asking. Very good service even though the staff don't smile. I suspect they... More
