Was here yesterday for a business lunch. Given it was a Tuesday it was fairly quiet but as usual food was a very good standard. I had the calamari which was nice but very strong on the garlic. For main I had the blue eye which was terrific. Don't forget the hand cut chips, way better than the salad! Beautiful... More

I've lunched at Flying Fish on several occasions, and in all but one, the food has been excellent. The focus is always on the fresh, natural flavors of the sea, and letting the produce speak for itself. The only time I was less than happy with the meal was in a preset business lunch, which catered for the 'safe choice.'... More

The restaurant is in an ordinary shopping area of Neutral Bay so do not expect a wonderful view but do expect best tasting fish. Service was very good and remember it is wise to reserve a table the locals know it well!

We loved watching the activities in the port. Seeing tugs push a big tanker from the comfort of this amazing restaurant. I loved my toothfish and the service was excellent. Extensive wine list and a great location.

Had a great time at this restaurant recently. Lovely atmosphere, with the Harbour, Bridge and the City in front of us. Four of us experienced the degustation menu plus matching wines and really enjoyed it. Staff were attentive (apart from one guy who seemed to be a bit confused about where he was!). This is certainly an expensive night out... More

I have been visiting Flying Fish multiple times and every time has been an unforgettable event. Its location at the end of the pier is stunning, similarly to the array of amazing dishes, service and ambience. What do you want to say more? You're simply the best!

We had the degustation with wine yesterday lunchtime, it was wonderfully presented, the food & wines complimented each other perfectly. The flavours exploded in your mouth, it was superb. The staff were courteous & attentive describing each of the 10 courses as they were presented, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended. To top this the views were looking out... More

I highly recommend this restaurant! My sister-in-law and I, both daughters of owners of high-end restaurants/caterers, had a wonderful lunch here. We were busy catching up. Needless to say, we were deep in conversation and not that approachable to the staff. They appeared to recognize this and were very discrete. They did not interrupt except to bring the food and...
