Got to Coast Restaurant at 8.30pm as I prebooked and made sure no functions were on as the last time they double booked me and a group of 8, the ambience was not the best only a handful of people most of the night, but the views were good, the food was good but not worth what the menu reflected,... A friend and I had a walk-in dinner here a few weeks ago. It was a Friday night, and the restaurant wasn't hugely busy so it was quite convenient. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was presented nicely. I had lamb, which I discovered (post-eating!) had a rather large hot chilli laid across it. I had mistaken it... More

Coast is not only sitting on top of Cockle Bay Wharf - it is "tops" for fine dining and indulging in an array of fine wines to suit your palate. You get a wide choice of foods on the menu and it makes for a wonderful nights dining.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The meals were fantastic and so much better than other restaurants that are more expensive. The Pinot Grigio we chose was very nice. The high ceilings make the place less noisy. It would be lovely in summer with day light savings and the great view over Darling Harbour, but we still had a... More

If you like Harbour views and fireworks then you'll enjoy the view. (fireworks on Saturday only I think) The meals had tiny servings at almost twice the price you would expect. 1 doz oysters $44, a tiny serving of lamb $41! The waitress was friendly but didn't know the menu or specials and was difficult to understand. We waited almost... More

Have been to Coast several times as it is on our must do list each time we visit Sydney. Their 3 or 5 course menus are always excellent value and the food never fails to disappoint. On our last visit we decided to visit on the Australia Day Saturday festivities due to balcony view of the fireworks. Generally many good... More

The restaurant is in a big entertainment complex. the waitress seemed to have no idea what she was doing. The fish was actually AMAZINGLY good, but the atmosphere was truly unremarkable.

We enjoyed a lovely evening watching the sun set and the lights of Darling Harbour turn on. Very friendly waitress and we enjoyed the food. They have a chef's special , which is a choice of 2 or 3 dishes for about $40/$50 . It wasn't written on the menu and we only found out by asking about the specials... More

I couldn’t agree more with the previous review describing Coast as an overpriced dining hall. This restaurant has a lot of potential but sadly, they have missed the mark. I went with Colleagues for a work night out, involving canapés on the deck and then a set meal inside. Overall the food was ok, but did not match up to... More

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and keep going back. It is excellent! The food is good and the staff are always very professional.
