Consistently great Asian food

I ave been here many times with different friends and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and.consistent, with a sensible wine list. I have dined here a number of times in past years and have always found the food to be outstanding but on this occasion I found a couple of the signature mains disappointing particularly given the price. I have a local Thai restaurant north of the Bridge that does similar dishes for half the price consistently better. That being said... More

We knew it wasn't going to be the cheapest place to eat in Sydney but gave it a try anyway. Really weren't disappointed! Had a few plates off the menu and shared between us and couldn't fault any dish. Yes it's more expensive than some restaurants in Chinatown or the like but it is worth it. The staff are nice... Just superlative food and service at this fantastic Sydney eatery. This and Spice Temple in Melbourne are the best Asian restaurants my good lady wife and I have managed to find in Australia. Food, cocktails, wine list all perfect or as close to that as any establishment can be. All of that and fantastic harbour views from the Finger Wharf.

Enjoyed a lazy Sunday arvo lunch. Plenty to choose from the menu. I like the idea of share plates, giving you more options to enjoy several dishes. Generous servings, especially mains. Fantastic waiter service, thanks Mark. Even complementary desert, just tiny servings of three of their favourite dishes. Ohh, the cocktail (also complementary) finished off a great meal. Highly recommend... More

Great setting on Woolloomooloo Wharf. Four of us dined here so we were able to try a range of dishes - all were fantastic - waygu beef shin, pork belly, duck and we had 3 entrees from the dim sum menu. The flavours melted in your mouth and the food was crunchy fresh. None of us felt like dessert but... More

If you want a Chinese meal that is a cut above the rest, I would definitely recommend China Doll. Yes, it is a lot more pricey than the norm but well worth it for a special occasion. Great location on the wharf at Woolloomooloo, good service and great food is always a good combination :-) Standout dishes were the pork... More
