There are now two review sites for chez Pascal. Its the same chef, he's just moved up the road. I suggest we continue reviews on the new site. To find it Google chez pascal "440 rocky point"

Went for an anniversary dinner on Saturday night. Booked for 1830 and had a lovely corner table. We both had 3 courses, bread to start and shared a salad. Food was flavoursome and exactly the right portion size for such rich food. The beef cheeks were especially tasty. Restaurant is small, intimate and tastefully decorated, and service was faultless. I was very disappointed with my experience at Chez Pascal. This place has been around a very long time and maybe back in the day it was wonderful, but by today's standards it is mediocre. I Can't say that I enjoyed the food here. We have eaten at other French restaurants that are much better than this. The French Onion... More

We booked for the birthday celebration dinner that was held on Wednesday. Due to own own fault we were running late and probably put the whole kitchen behind. We were treated with absolute respect, kindness and understanding. The food was delicious, especially the Salmon Roulade entree. I would definately recommend this restaurant.

Dined here a few times over the years and have always been happy with the food. Phillipe the chef is a character and loves to get amongst the tables when he can. The menu has typical french classics like cassoulete and the crepe Normandie is the dessert to order. It's a small venue and bookings are mandatory for Saturday nights... More

Most of the reviews of this place are great - you sometimes can get an off night at any restaurant so I take that into account...I love the ambience and selection of food. This is DEFINATELY a place for couples or small group. One review mentioned that they wanted to bring a baby /pram - well one should think about... More

I wouldn't go back because the food was average. I went quite a few years ago but since then many people I have spoken to say it hasn't improved. The food is plain and not extravagant on the taste buds like French food should be. It's nothing like the real thing!

We made a reservation weeks ago for valentines day, and told them that we have a baby and pram. The staff said it was fine. We were also told that the menu had not been decided and that we would get a call from them before to let us know what the menu is. We did not hear from them,... More
