Best that restaurant in Sydney. It never fails to deliver, from the time you walk through the door. Genuine warm and friendly greetings by Michael and his staff, its like being welcomed by ones family. Food fresh, served beautifully, and delicious...always...we are never disappointed and have introduced many friends to this lovely restaurant. Our favourite.

I first ate here on the invitation of friends who are regular patrons of Bai Yok Castlecrag. From the moment we walked in and the friendly greeting to the moment we left with genuine friendly and warm greetings. The food west fresh, served beautifully, and tasted to delight. I think the best Thai food I have eaten. The ambience of... More

The Castlecrag Bai Yok never fails to deliver- great food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Being walking distance from home makes it a favourite for our family (grown up kids) for special occasions and not so special occasions. The Meing scallops are always a hit (Beetel nut leaves and nuts and lime etc) - be brave and add the chilli!... More

Bai Yok used to be a cheap eats haunt years ago in Crows Nest but even then the food was always excellent. Now in leafy suburban Castlecrag its really come into it's own. Delightful atmosphere and excellent service are hallmarks of this excellent Thai eatery. To expect good food here is a given, but actually it's excellent. Reasonable value for... More

Like so many other reviewers I was amazed by the understated quality of this restaurant. The atmosphere is calm but friendly - and as someone else has said the carpet helps in this respect. Lovely ambience assisted by tasteful artefacts dotted around. The menu was interesting with combining regular thai dishes with regional specialities. We tried the a betal leaf... More

Yes the food here was sensational. Not one dish disappointed. Every bite was fresh, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. Great prices too. One of the things I really loved about it however was that it was carpeted and was beautifully furnished with low hanging decorate lamps, which create a beautiful ambiance and no horrible echoing sounds. This means you can... More

Have been to crows nest and now the Yok thai in Manly. Excellent food and always lovely friendly staff. Tried the tapas selection at Manly, was interesting, refreshing and yum :) loved the lychee ice cream at the end too...

I have been to countless Thai restaurants around the world, and can safely say that this is the BEST I have ever been to. The day I discovered it - I was hooked - it kept me coming for over 4 years until I had to move overseas. Now, every time I go to a Thai restaurant here in the... More
