The Tocky has an extensive food menu with enticing daily specials including the popular $10 lunch menu on Monday - Friday. Good standard of pub food in a spacious dining area

The Toxteth is a corner pub that used to cater for a hard-drinking male clientele but has now been modernised. So modernised it even has an upstairs art gallery, the Tate. Walk in through the old-style bar and past the toilets and you find yourself in a big, square indoor-outdoor area for dining... read more

Yes the Toxteth sucks. Poor service and rude management. For our group there was a dark-bearded-glasses guy who claimed to be the manager. He was both rude and arrogant. And the prices! The pie of the day (microwaved) starts at $20 ........ Maybe if that manger wasn't there our issue could have be solved. My advice is avoid this place.... More

Went here for a work function. Reserved a table out doors in the beer garden, nice area. You can see into the kitchen through a window from there as well. Staff are friendly enough and the food is actually really good!

This was the first time I went to Glebe, which is why I like visiting pubs because I end up visiting places that people would normally not visit and discovering little oddities that are off the main tourist track. This is a nice traditional English style pub whose food is not too badly priced (though I heard a couple complain... More

You could always find me at the Tox on a quiz night. We were usually about 8 people attending the quiz. The pub is clean and has a fun atmosphere. The prices are average for Sydney.

Recently spent Monday & Tuesday nights at the Toxteth Hotel with friends. Trivia nights are on both nights from 730pm and had a ball. Food is excellent and had the $12 specials both nights. Excellent atmosphere with friendly staff. Will be going back again if back in Sydney.

I was pleasantly surprised when I finally came here the pub is very clean and good atmosphere. Went there to have a drink and join in the Thursday pool game and will definitely come here more often. They have a different food on special each day and can't wait to go on those days. They have a open smoking area... More

Took a fair walk from Darling Harbour to find, but I tracked the Toxteth Hotel down from an online recommendation to try their Big Dog Challenge. A massive footlong bratwurst hotdog with mustard, pickles and a plate of wedges in 30mins. Lets just say afterwards I was grateful for that long. It WAS a beautiful hotdog though, and a good...
