Walking by makes want to go in

What a little treasure in Maroubra, it's warm a bit quirky and just feel good. Coffee is great, real tea leaves in tea pots, large servings and some interesting things on the menu like the pasta.

Hannah the owner goes out of her way to make sure all her guests are well looked after. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's feel like a backyard house party with amazing food and drinks and excellent music. The place is decked out to make you feel chilled and the outside back area is the best place to... More

I've had dinner here with a friend - burger and chips, gin cocktail, and a delicious glass of chilled prosecco. I've also had an afternoon pot of tea (leaves) while friends had coffee and hot chocolate. Tasty double coconut gateaux/cake. Great vibe. Eclectic music. Just a 2 minute walk from Maroubra beach. Open 'til 4pm Monday to Wednesday and 'til... More

I've eaten here for weekend brunch and lunch on a number of occasions. Food is always of a very high standard and the service is cheerful and generally helpful. The ambience is casual and the decor is quirky. It is a small spot so occasionally you have to wait a little bit for the food, but that goes with it... More

I'm surprised there is only a couple of reviews for this place. We stumbled upon the eatery in mid-October while vacationing in Aussie Land. The BLAT was to die for. Our whole table (x4 plus child) were very happy with the food, the service, the environment.

I went to North End Cafe a few weeks ago for breakfast and was greeted with excellent service and my meal was wonderful. The young waitress (blonde hair and nose ring) was extremely accomodating and bubbly. There was a very noisy screechy toddler hanging around (a little annoying but I think it belonged to the owner, yikes). Would absolutley go... More

We had been to the previous cafe and were looking forward to trying the new version. Great atmosphere and the place was packed at 1130; however we managed to get a table straight away. When it came to order lunch we were told we had to wait until the breakfast menu had finished (12 midday) however the waitress who took... More
