My husband and I have been here quite a few times over the last couple of years. Normally in a larger group. No matter who you are there with you always have a fantastic time there. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food and beer are amazing. It's a spot I would always recommend to anyone.

While i find the music at this place too loud, and hard to have a conversation with, i was very impressed with their sourdough garlic bread. Probably the best tasting garlic bread ive ever experienced, i must go back!!

If you like German beers and food, it's the place to go to. I tried the pork ribs which was cooked well. The half rack is actually quite a large serving. It's in the city and relaxing place to catch up with friends. Music can be bit loud though. Check out the waitresses there....

It's a great place to come for original authentic German food Tastes exactly like it does in Frankfurt Only downside is the music is SO loud for eating can't even shout and be heard but if it's a group of friends at the bar it's ok Don't expect a romantic setting at all its a eat and go kind of... I love this place and having lived in Germany for 5 years I know good German food. The pork knuckle is fantastic and so is the sauerkraut and red cabbage. There is an assortment of many German beers on tap and to not like this restaurant is to just admit your misconceptions of this cuisine. Beautiful giant room with nice... More

If you want a good hearty meal then this is the spot for you. I ordered veal served with mash and was so pleased with it. A very generous serve of meat over a good portion of mash with mushroom ragout - delicious!

Large, pleasant pub - with speciality beers. Food very simple, well priced and large servings. Had to request to drinks orders to be taken & we had issues with our order which was disappointing - we were a booked group of 15 and 3 meals did not come until 20 mins after the rest were served. But food was tasty... More

What makes this place so special - apart from the taste of the beer itself - is the traditional service and hospitality. The most exciting part of the whole experience was the amazing smell of the home cooking - something to remember !!!! And all that magic happened on the very busy Frida night with hundreds of guests sitting, talking... More

Booked this place for a Birthday dinner for my brother. Had a reservation for 4 people at 8pm on a Friday night. I decided to book here because the reviews seemed good, and the menu looked good and it would be something different. We found the place and walked in. Wasn't sure where to go to tell someone we had... More
