I loved this place, it's a kind of pirate/ Rum bar but a cool one, it's fun, they've got a huge selection of rum, a massive cocktail list. Highly recommend it!

It's a bar. That's about it. Raucous, tacky and very loud 80's rock... (that's probably considered 'retro' by the kids of today). Any conception you might have of a swashbuckling pirates den evaporates the moment your assaulted by the cheap 110 decibel pub music on entry. Flanny wearing glassie kept stealing our glasses of water from right under our noses,... More

This place is tiny. A few booths, a long communal table in the centre, and the bar. Dimly lit and with a "pirate" theme, it very much reminded me of Stitch Bar (I believe by the same guys). The music was non-stop blues (love!), and the waiters and bar staff were friendly. With your drink you are offered free pistachios,... More

I love the atmosphere at Button Bar. A great cosy space, great quirky music and killer drinks. They make a mean Old Fashioned. Yum. It gets packed and a little loud at times (Fri, Sat nights) and it's not as good then, losing some of that relaxed feel. You come here for great cocktails, and they do the classics really... More

Can be hard to find - not more than a door on the street but inside is fabulous. The waiters are exotic and gorgeous and the cocktails were delicious.

Matt and luca are amazing. They enjoy being creative, so tell them what you want and your wish is their command. Matt is a fountain of knowledge, and Angela's attentiveness add to the ambience of your overall drinking pleasure. The atmosphere and music create a very warm, friendly, welcoming feel. I love that they bring out a bowl of pistachio's that you can nibble on while having a drink. I really enjoy coming here for drinks and the atmosphere, the music is sometimes a little too loud (makes talking a bit difficult) but when in the area I love to start or end the night here as it is a... OK, I'll fess up that I visited this bar after a very long lunch in Sydney town at a joint called 4 Fourteen (see separate review). So I was well soaked when I came across this bar which was recommended by my youngest son who had just graduated - thus I am open to a suggestion that my state may... More

We stopped here for drinks with friends after spending Melbourne cup day at Randwick.Although bar was quite busy,a hostess came to our table quite quickly after we sat down and brought us a complimentary bowl of pistachios, which was a nice touch. She then explained that we order at the bar.Delicious Sangria and quick service.Would definitely come back again
