This place is value for money, in a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and more than I expected for a pub meal. Drinks were reasonable also. Hats off to the chef.

Not much to complain about, if you're expecting great pub fare you'll get it here. The menu was extensive enough to satisfy the fussy eaters in our group, and the meals were a very decent size. Food was very tasty, and the price of dinner and drinks for 4 of us was less than $70. Very reasonable.

Great music, sympatic staff but the only thing that i dont understand is when they have a offer all mixed drinka for 4$ till midnight, why i always had to pay 9$ for jim beam&coke? Didnt want to ask them for that-the music was too loud

Fairly good prices great food ( note that, as a European i found the meat a bit overcooked), small but nice deck outside. Oh and... BEER!

I visited Maloney's with a large group of friends on a Saturday night. I ordered the Irish Sampler which was delicious and very reasonably priced. My friends were also similarly impressed with their meals. I'd definitely eat there again.

A good Irish/English pub near Haymarket. The food looked and tasted great. All comfort food selections and goes well with beers/wines. Excellent value for money. $10.00 lunch special Mon-Thurs. Loved the food. Awesome taste. To be honest I was pleasantly surprised at the finesse and the flavorsome dishes!

Two weekend nights in September. Typical bar. Footy on the telly. Noisy. But ..... food great. Lamb shanks brilliant. Irish Stew very tasty. And cider on tap. Perfect. Not an 'evening out' but definitely a meal worth the money. The three of us (one an 89 yo) would recommend you try this.

For a last night in Sydney we wanted to avoid asian food without traveling too far. The Bistro at Maloney's Hotel looked and sounded lively from the outside. The food was good, the service was good, and we had live music. They have two diner areas, one more quiet, you can choose according to your mood. By Sydney standards it... More

This 'hotel' isn't a hotel it's backpacker's hostel and the bar reflects this. The food is also poor. Avoid.
