This has become one of my favourite bistros (along this one across road). It features a short menu of various pasta and rissotto specials. I'm told the pasta is home made. Service is excellence and atomsphere is casual. I great place for friends.

We went to this lovely place twice during our four night stay in Sydney as we like it so much the first night. It is quite small and has a limited menu of specials which I would think change regularly. The food is excellent, very authentic and good size portions. It was also reasonably priced compared to other nearby restaurants.... More

After a refreshing cocktail at the Shady Pines Saloon, I wandered down East Sydney's lanes towards a gem of Italy, Quattro Passi Cafe. The menu was simple, with 4 or 5 choices for each of entree, main and dessert. A shared plate of Italian salumi was an excellent start. My saffron and pea risotto was really very good, with just... I visited due to the very good reviews on trip advisor. Our waiter was friendly however we had a 10 minute wait for someone to take our order. Starters came in reasonable time (15 mins or so), however our mains took a further hour. One of us had gnocchi and the other meatballs. Both were badly microwaved with cold bits... More

I found this place through tripadvisor as I wanted to try something different in Sydney and never even heard of it. The atmosphere is really homely with excellent service. We ordered the polenta, caprese salad and pate for starters, followed by the meatballs and the tiramisu for desert. All the food was really tasty and we all really enjoyed our... More

Very unassuming little restaurant that is huge on taste, quality of food and service. Best place I have eaten in Sydney! Not expensive - the gnocchi melted in the mouth. Highly recommended

We found this little place by chance while walking back to the city after dropping off a hire car. Of all the restaurants ate at during out 2 weeks, it was the only one we visited more than once. The food was genuinely excellent, authentically Italian, as good as my favorite restaurants in Desenzano or Madonna di Campiglio. The owners... More

I work around the corner and have tried a few places here. If you're after authentic Italian, you'll be coming back to this place. I almost couldn't believe the prices for the quality of food and service they consistently provide. Regular coffee $3!

We spent several mornings in this amazing place for a coffee or breakfast. Not only is the food fantastic, furthermore the coffee is one of the best we ever had. Already on the second day the barista Roberto was familiar with our coffee taste. You can sit outside and enjoy the sun in the morning or in the very carefully... More
