Warm and welcoming

Great coffee, yummy home made cakes and friendly service. An ideal place for travellers to feel refreshed before continuing on with their journeys, or a homely place to go each day for a catch up with friends.

A little Italian with great food. The restaurant offers a small but delicious menu. The Pasta was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. The price is reasonable for Sydney and we will definitely be back.

Friendly with Fabulous food, perfect . We had Lunch off the Specials board and it was fresh and tasty, fresh Pasta, and asparagus tart with salad The restaurant was busy but food arrived quickly and the whole atmosphere was easy going. Obviously a treasure tucked away in the city but well worth looking up.

We were recommended this cafe & we were not disappointed. The three of us shared three dishes off the specials board, a pasta, rice risotto & salad all freshly made & totally delicious. They don't do dessert but they did do friands which were a nice way to finish off a very long lunch. Will definitely return. The cafe is... More

Everything that you'd hope for in a local Italian restaurant and more. Friendly, generous and delicious. I had a beautiful asparagus entrée and a perfectly cooked piece of salmon with autumn vegetables.

This has become one of my favourite bistros (along this one across road). It features a short menu of various pasta and rissotto specials. I'm told the pasta is home made. Service is excellence and atomsphere is casual. I great place for friends.

We went to this lovely place twice during our four night stay in Sydney as we like it so much the first night. It is quite small and has a limited menu of specials which I would think change regularly. The food is excellent, very authentic and good size portions. It was also reasonably priced compared to other nearby restaurants.... More

After a refreshing cocktail at the Shady Pines Saloon, I wandered down East Sydney's lanes towards a gem of Italy, Quattro Passi Cafe. The menu was simple, with 4 or 5 choices for each of entree, main and dessert. A shared plate of Italian salumi was an excellent start. My saffron and pea risotto was really very good, with just... I visited due to the very good reviews on trip advisor. Our waiter was friendly however we had a 10 minute wait for someone to take our order. Starters came in reasonable time (15 mins or so), however our mains took a further hour. One of us had gnocchi and the other meatballs. Both were badly microwaved with cold bits... More
