For a la carte Japanese, sokyo is my only choice for great consistent dining. Please try the Wagyu 9+ ribeye 800g ( great for sharing for at least 3-4 diners). Exquisite, tender, melts in your mouth. With four dipping sauces. Sashimi platter is a staple choice with 24 delectable pieces of fresh seafood. Stunning presentation. It was truffle promotion so... More

I don't normally like raw fish etc so this wasn't my choice but so glad I came! The waitress picked our dishes including raw fish and they were all superb, I'm now so glad I came!

Sat at the bar rather than an table which we found totally enjoyable watching the preparation of various dishes by the legion of sushi chefs provided a bit of visually try before you buy situation. Fair to say we didn't have one poor dish and the waiting staff are only to happy to provide some ideas. It's not cheap but... More

The skewered beef and lamb chops were absolutely fantastic. Having been to Japan six or seven times, I found the nigiri sushi rice disappointing lacking moisture and flavour. The fish was of good quality and flavour, but the nigiri were on the small side and fish thickness was undersized. Also, why does the restaurant insist on loud music to create... More

Rated 10 of more than 5000 Restaurants in Sydney, we surely came with a great expectation. The Service was attentive and fast, even too fast sometimes as plates were taken from the table without the Food actually all eaten. It is a way busy restaurants make room for the next guests. We ordered short ribs, lamb chops, and several Sushi's... More

Interesting take on japanese food. You had to order one dish from each section to truly experience the food style, which was guided by our hostess. And it tasted sooo good!
