I visited Al Aseel Circulay Quay once and to be frank that was when I had the worst Falafels in my life. It was so dry and cold. I think it was few days old. Moreover, they serve slices of meat with some salad and dip and call it kebab. I think it's just a way to make easy money.

Newtown neighborhood of Sydney is full of ethnic restaurants, most of them on the casual side. Al Aseel is bit fancier than the rest, with very nice atmosphere and excellent food. the portions are fairly large. We ordered the Al Aseel mix grill and it was more than enough for two of us.

Surry Hills and Netown have a tasty selection and the benefit of eating here is you can drink alcohol. But the Greenacre and another western suburbs location is awesome, very authentic as you can tell they cater to the relevant community in those areas and they would be able to tell what the food is meant to taste like. Their grilled haloumi cheese with pomegranete sauce for a starter was very good. Also, their mixed platter kebabs is a must try too.

I went here for the third time on the same month. Really enjoyed the meats they serve and I like the service. Tried another lebanese restaurant not far from this place fown the road and Al Aseel wins in every aspect.

Ive tried most lebanese resteraunts around Surry Hills, Auburn & Granville. Great fresh tasting food, great selection on the menu & excellent value for money. If they. Did home delivery It would be a part of my weekly diet.

Elitist. Cold. Efficient. Moderately good food. Expensive. My partner’s and my dinner at Al Aseel (Newtown) is described like this. Elitist. Because we ordered less than the average couple we were snubbed. God they’re so cool. That Timeout restaurant award must have gone to their heads. Cold. No “thank yous” at all. In fact hardly any speech at all. Moderately... More

We found the staff attentive and helpful on a wet and relatively quiet Monday evening. The venue is open plan and rather lacking in character. However, there were a lot of Lebanese patrons, which is always a good sign. Our simple starters of Falafel and grilled Haloumi arrived without the promised bread and pickles, which finally arrived with the main... More

Terrible service and very rude staff at City and Lakemba branch!!! Average food, quite less quantity.. Staff would serve to you like they are doing favor to you?! I visited this restaurant 5 times but never got a good decent service. Never say never received any thanks while paying bill or choosing the restaurant... My advice to you if you... More
