Whenever we visit Sydney I always make sure I get to Gelato Messina at The Star. It's the BEST gelato in Sydney! I always order Salted caramel with white chocolate chips. It's devine!! They have so many other interesting and unique flavours. Can't wait to try them all! Tip - Don't go Saturday night as the line up is huge!... More

Great place, nice surroundings and friendly people. Recommend. The young lady who served us was so nice, the food was good. Will be back when we visit Sydney again

I'm Italian and a gelato lover. Messina gelato tastes like mass production ice cream and the atmosphere in their shops is very impersonal too. I have the impression that this business is just about marketing.

I was fortunate enough to speak to several employees, chefs and factory managers and I was blown away by their passion and creativity. The gelato is truly the result of amazing people working together to make something that people love. If you have time and you're lucky enough to catch their gelato classes, you will learn so much and enjoy... More

i feel bad for the people that travel for ages and ages to come to Messina, i walk out my front door and its just there. with one of the largest selections of Gelato you will ever see, and a specials board that has to be seen to be believed, its way to see why the ques (which do go... More

I love gelato and can definitely say Messina has some of the best in the world. The variety of flavours are unusual with combinations of Western & Eastern flavours. My favourite is the pandan coconut, followed closely by mango and coconut (like the best sticky rice mango combination ever). It gets busy at night but is always worth the wait.

Ah Messina, I have had so many good memories that include you. Whether on a sunny afternoon or after dinner and a few drinks, there isn't a moment when it's not appropriate to converge on Messina and indulge in one of its many treats. My personal favourite is salted caramel and chocolate, but you simply can't go wrong with any... More

This has got to be the best desert place on the planet! We had to stand in line for 15 minutes just to get in but that in its self is a fun experience talking and listening to what everyone's favourite is and what they are going to get. Each time we go now we just get the specials on... More
