Messina has the best Gelato in Sydney. Definitely a must visit ! If you visit the one in Victoria Street in Darlinghurst, you should try the creation in Messina Creative Department. It is sooooo goood though its quite pricey (10AUD) Its definitely worth it !

Amazing gelato. Very difficult to make a decision as there are so many amazing flavours, but I chose the Rococo - chocolate, honey and nougat - stunning is the only word I can think of! Can't wait to go back and try the other flavours. Definitely worth the calories :) Do yourself a favour and indulge - its worth the... More

Try the five flavour plate. Yum. The only issue I had was the haphazard queuing system but it was really just. Part of the atmosphere. Amazing mouthfeel and worth the walk to get there

I like my ice cream and Messina at the Star was in a category of its own. Not easy to choose between the exotic flavours but opted in the end for salted caramel and white chocolate with coffee. Words cannot describe.......... My husband just doesn't understand.

Don't let the queue scare you off, this really is the best gelato in Sydney, possibly Australia. Our personal favouite, 'for the love of puff' but why restrict yourself to one!

Gelato Messina consistently delivers great ice cream experience, and is not expensive compared to other ice cream shops. My favourite flavour is Pavlova but it's only available three times a year - follow their Facebook for announcements of special flavours. Of the regular range, my favourite is bounty (coconut and chocolate chips), strawberry and caramel yoghurt.

Step one: follow gelato messina on instagram and proceed to drool and marvel at all the beautiful flavors. Step two: go to gelato messina and get the newest flavor with something you know you will love ($6 for two scoops, trust me it's worth it) While I was there I had tiramisu, red velvet, and banana split, all pretty glorious.

Messina's ice cream selection is very diverse and original. The ice cream is onctuous and has a great taste. A must-go-to in Sydney, if you don't mind queuing for it!
