True story: my then girlfriend had just returned overseas after spending 7 years away from Australia. She had never heard of Gelato Messina. So, on our second date last year, I too her here because (a) the queues are always long (which is perfect to build anticipation and a brilliant excuse to keep the conversation going), (b) when we reached... The staff were great and let us try everything. The Gelato was delish, but I don't quite see what the huge hype is!

the crowds in front of the outlet sorta puts you off, because you might not wane wait that long just for a scoop of ice-cream. thoroughly enjoyed my tiramisu gelato eventually.

I thought it was just me being picky but my brother also found his gelato vey hard to finish. I didn't enjoy it but tried to finish it cause it was $6. Would not go back . Don't see the hype but it was really busy.

By stars the salted caramel gelato was definitely worth the hunt. Gelato Messina has been raved about so often and I'm always going back to try a new flavour and they never disappoint. The best thing about Gelato Messina is that all the flavours are genuine and made on site and melded into the gelato. It's the type of gelato... More

Gelato Messina sells delightful gelato, and are open many hours of the day. The gelato is very very good, and every week they have 3 new novelty flavours! (Think Apple pie, twix, other very creative ideas). The best part is that it's also very cheap, I usually go $6 for 2 big scoops, you can get cup or cone. They... More
