Description: Chophouse is located at 25 Bligh St Sydney. Designed as a tribute to the old New York steakhouse, Chophouse references a bygone era. Inspired by the industrial & perhaps even a subtle nod to the rawness of the abattoir, the building’s original substructure has been unearthed. |Elements have been stripped back to their raw, primitive nature while maintaining a certain edge & sex appeal. Chophouse is a culinary and visual experience....

Good food. Good wine list. A little expensive but the tomahawk steak was pretty darn tasty. Will be back - when I can expense the bill

In the central area, beautifully designed, warm atmosphere and as is to be expected from the restaurant name, a great selection of meat dishes, accompanied by some good wines. And don't worry, there are some choices for the non-meat eaters too. Not cheap, but very nice. Make sure to make reservations in the weekend.

Went there for a set menu. The choice of unlimited wine was excellent. The food was just perfect. The service was more than exemplary. I hardly had to call the waiter for a refill. Would go there again for sure.

Been to Chophouse a few times now, and every experience is better than the last. It is fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney. The quality of the food is superb, and the service is prompt. Chophouse is famous for their 'plank' specials, with my favourite being the Chophouse Tomahawk. 1.3kg of tender and juicy black angus on... More

Unfortunately have to put a negative review on this restaurant. Was trying to catch up with my ex what she was doing in the last 8 years overseas. Made booking on the Thursday night, we was rushed through the dinner, and was shoved the dessert menu when we are half way through our main. Mid way into our dessert we... More

This place is one of my favorite restaurants. I've dined here a number of times now and it doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere is great, the staff are fantastic at what they do (and always fun). Food is always spot on, and the wine list is extensive. Great place for date night or dinner with friends..

Despite there being some mixed reviews on TA I can say that's meal with work colleagues was very enjoyable. Prawns and calamari to start with were scrumptious. I opted for a Wagyu fillet for main from the specials list and it was cooked to perfection. No complaints from me!

Went there on recommendation. The menu read well. However the steak was absolutely dreadful. The sauce provided was a teaspoon size. One of the side dishes came 15 minutes after the main meal. My thoughts are if you wNt a great steak go elsewhere.

Went there with a group of 12 people. The meal was ok without being great. Service was good. The atmosphere of the place was quite good but it was a little bit dark. Was not cheap

A bit more lighting would go astray, especially for us older farts. Sure, there was a ambiance but I couldn't really see menu. However, we managed to order a couple of T-Bones with sides. The steak was well rested and cooked right. The only complaint was the prawn entree had flavours to die for but the was over cooked. Maybe... More
