Came here on a Saturday morning and was able to avoid the crowd. This was the first time my husband and I went to the fish market so it was nice to have a quick look first without the crowd. We decided to go to Peter's because there were more people waiting in line. We ordered numerous different sashimi and... More

Great place for fresh fish for lunch. We had the basic fish and chips plus sashimi and they were divine. It's a nice lunch out while visiting the fish market and you find yourself drooling over the fresh fish displayed. We were there on a weekday and the place was packed. Finding a table was difficult but we were willing... More

Had good seafood at Peter's Fish Market during my visit to Sydney in March. Sydney Fish Market could be easily access via taking a cab, or taking a ferry to Darling Harbour and walk to the fish market ( walking time around 15-20 minutes) We ordered oyster, salmon sashimi, eel, fisherman's basket (comprises of fish, calamari and fries), spicy calamari... Like previous poster purchased a $19 Scoopon Deal for the "Fishermans Basket" and 2 drinks. The fish was wafer thin and had little flesh and overcooked to it making it very underwhelming. Not a fan of "Crabsticks" which are just manufactured cheap seafood and mainly used as "extender" so out of the 3 provided we only ate half on one.... More

Bought a scoopon meal deal $19 for their fishermans basket and two drinks. The calamari rings were cooked nicely, tho battered fish was overdone and crabsticks very ordinary. Im glad I had bought the voucher as Its definitely not worth paying full price for it.

The Fish market is very noisy, be prepared for that. Each restaurant has its special attraction. Peter's is easy the cold stuff is sold from a great central section with all on view and the hot ordered from the back where the access to outside tables are. They often have a dish on special offer at a cheaper price than... More

We sat outside at a table under an umbrella at the fish market and went inside to order. Another party of three adults sitting nearby warned us not to order a seafood platter for three, because it was more than they could eat. My wife, always frugal, ordered a platter for two, and it was nearly more than four adults... More
